Hey, does anyone have any idea why it is that even though I downloaded photoshop brushes, unzipped the files, and pasted them into the Brushes folder in Adobe, they still don't show up in the brush drop-down menu in Photoshop? I would be really grateful if someone could help me with this. Thanks bunches.

xoxo

Sorry, that's what I meant.
Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop 7.0\Presets\Brushes

It still doesn't show up that way.

you're welcome!

Yeah you can create your own brush or download them. to create a brush, highlight the area that you want to be a brush (for example: get a pic of your face and use the lasso tool to select the part you want as a brush) then go to edit/ define brush. the selected part will show up as a new brush in the set you already have opened. you can delete all of the other brushes in that set so that the one u just made stands alone, then in the brush drop down menu, save it, and there you go, your own brush.

now did that make any sense?!
