yknow whats funny? people yell at u if u dont look at the old threads before making a new one, because its "spam"

but then they yell at you if you pull up an old thread.

I'm going to have to agree with you on that one.

I've seen a lot of people whine about it when people bring back old threads.. but yet they whine when people re-create them, and just give them that same link, anyway. -_-

Yeah, the no spam rule's a good one to have.. but you should let them do at least one. Either don't whine about old threads coming back, or have repeat topics. I know sometimes old threads attract spam, but still.. I think one should be acceptable out of the two choices.

Well I'm presuming most of the happens at the xanga help section (or related forums) because people don't want to keep repeating themselves to answer the same question all over and over again. Anyways.. as for bumping old topics, I don't really care.

Hhaha yea, I really hate that. Especially when some members only post to point out spam.. not even bothering to notice the real essence of the topic.

But anyway, bleh.. I think I yelled at one person for bringing back a topic. Only because that topic, which I never saw before, had been really old and it was a topic that should've been closed, but it wasn't.

And some topics are old news... But I haven't really yelled at anyone in a while..

Diana did it. Why hasn't she been suspended from staff? Aren't staff members breaking the rules typically punished moreso than a member? In that case, she should jump straight to a warning, and a staff with a warning should be a suspension imo. Yup yup. I definitely agree with what I just said.

It doesn't happen as much anymore. Duplicate topics are usually okay if the old topic is long gone.
Bumping reeeeeeally old topics is annoying sometimes (if it happens a lot).
