They're basketball shoes.. made back in the 20's, if I'm not mistaken.
And only guys played basketball back in those days, so yes. They were intended for guys..

I LUV MY CONVERSE!!!! they are like the best shoes ever. but know there getting really popular and like all the poular people are wearing them and they dont look good at all. i think they trully look there best on skaters not preppy guys who were high tops low tops all the way babe and guys with pink converse are like so hott.give me any guy with converse and a guitar and i will love them forever
