there's this guy that i am absolutely crazy about.
i like him, he likes me...all that. i know he cares a lot about me, and i think i love him. i can't stop thinking about him, and i want to hold him all the freakin time!!! he'd like that too...only problem is, my parents don't want me to see him "that way" (or any other guy for that matter) until i'm older. <i'm nearly 17 right now> right now, he's around a lot, and it's all good...as long as my parents don't see us being anything but just friends. but we still sneak a few moments and hug and caress and stuff. and a few little kisses. sweet ones  my mom caught us holding hands a few days ago and told me it had to stop or i couldn't see him at all anymore. should i risk getting caught and just be really really careful and go on hugging and stuff with him? <so far my parents don't know that we've done anything but hold hands.> or do i go with my parents ideas? <which would totally make me miserable> btw...he just turned 20. |

hmm.....maybe u should tell ur parents ur 17,and u think your old enough for a relationship (say it nice tho,not a biznitchy) and tell ythem u think hes the one. or maybe u can make a deal or something.

 but seriously, just explain to them that you're old enough now. and for god's sakes...its holding hands.  if you guys really do like each other, just go with it. be careful obviously, but really. holding hands...oh my god that's so horrible!! ...

this is called lust, not love. And ur 16 ish and hes 20 , my parents wouldnt want me to date him either if i was a girl, well if u want u can sneak out , just dont get cought. or u can just tell them ur responsible, ready, and prepared for a relationship.

awwwwww.. that really suix about parents but you should sit down with them and explain to them that ur mature enough to handle this relationship and they should trust you. Don't go and yell at them though... not a good approach >_< LOL GOOD LUCK!

You know.. my boyfriend doesn't even come over to my house.. He's only been in my house twice.. only becaues he was trying to fix my computer.. But I'd sneak little pats ont he shoulder and pecks on the cheek when my mom elaves the room lol. I've been with my boyfriend for almost 2 years now.
If he cares enough about you, he'd wait until you and him are allowed to date.. or in your case... when you're allowed to even date anyone at all. But anyway, you should be sneaky about it.. but be too drastic and try to be with him 24/7.. DON'T risk any chance of getting caught... Unless you want to get in trouble.. which is just as bad as obeying your prante's wishes. But I mean.. if he really wanted to be with you and you DID deicde to obey your parents, ask him to wait for you.. and to just be close friends for now.. rather that be actual bf-gf. =) If he does wait, then it's meant to be. There's sort of a big age difference between you and him, so I highly doubt your parents will let you date him... |

I think taht you should explain to your parents thta you're 17 now and not a baby. You can make your own decisions and even though you appreciate thair help you feel that they need to loosen up a bit.
