the senior pranks i could remember at my HS
2 years ago- someone stole the flag (he accidentally ripped it while trying to take it and was charged with felony)
last year- some seniors spraypainted the entire side of the school.
this year- someone stole our school eagle (its a stuffed, dead eagle. male, white eagle. the school's offering a $1,000 reward to catch the person who did it or to find the eagle. if the person's caught they'll also be charged with infringement on the endangered animals law. which i thought was weird b/c it was dead to begin with... )

what was your senior prank?

Umm.. well it's not a senior prank but it's pretty damn funny...
Last year, on the night of the homecoming dance... We have this statue in front of the school of an indian holding a pipe and the indian holding his fingers together as to put something in the pipe... well, the next morning the indian was found holding an open condom...

And, at the beginning of each year... There is an article in our school newspaper... With a picture of some girl serving as a lifeguard... and it talks about how our school just put in a swimming pool on the roof over the summer... Of course it's a lie... but the freshmen all think it's true...

but, uh... I'm not involved in the pranks... So I don't know what's going to happen this year.

MTV read about it in a newspaper and called every single mcdonald in the phone book just to reach that kid. man. that was funny.

The Senior Prank Is Alive And Well

LANSDALE, Pa. - North Penn High School students trying to revive the venerable custom of the senior prank stuck about 35,000 plastic forks into two grassy areas at the school in time for school Monday morning.

Even some teachers were impressed.

Senior Tom McDonald said the group set about collecting 30,000 forks - a target they ultimately passed - during lunch time and from businesses. McDonald said he sent out a phony date in February - partly to get recruits and also to throw off school officials. Then there was the matter of figuring out how to get everyone in and out without getting caught after the effort began at midnight Sunday.

"Imagine coordinating 50 men in 10 cars going in different routes to the school. It was a strategic battle plan," McDonald said.

Getting out proved to be more difficult than getting in. Police arrived after about an hour and a half of work and took 10 teens, including McDonald, into custody.

"They were very mad because they thought we were vandalizing the school," McDonald said. "Once we told them what we were doing, they said they never laughed so hard in their life."

McDonald speculated that authorities took the event in such good humor because it didn't do any damage and it was cleaned up by 11 a.m. Monday.

"I thought it was very wonderful. It was well-coordinated. It brought us a moment of laughter," teacher Tom Lemon said.

Past pranks:
- Somewhere around a million bouncy balls let out down the stairs.
- A beetle [car, obviously] in the cafeteria.. how it got in through the doors I'll never know.

2004:
Lots of mini-pranks.
- Bouncy balls in the halls (again).
- Seniors got to school at 6 AM to take the faculty parking spots.
- Threw two live chickens into the crowded cafteria.
- Water balloons filled with water, bird seed, or beer.
- Threw sandwiches and eggs into the crowds.
- Setting off fireworks on the island in the middle of the cirlcle outside of the school. (I heard they attached a dead squirrel to one of them. )
- Smoke bombs in and outside the school.
- Lit a tree stump on fire.
- Pulled the fire alarm 4 times so the whole school was outside.
- Threw beer, vodka, pee, or water balloons.
Our school went into lockdown that day.. we weren't allowed to go to the bathroom without an escort, and we weren't allowed in the halls to go to our lockers or anything. And they were supposed to cement the toilets or cement a keg to the sidewalk but I heard the cement didn't mix right or something.

Our school is 7th-12th grade. So the seniors just one randomn day decided to give the first underclassman(7th 8th grader) to come to the senior square would get ten dollars. So this guy went and they had a trashcan and they told him it was under the trash. Soo in the end they tried to stuff him down the trash and it didnt go well because he got a cut lip and some bruises. BUT now the seniors apologized and the pretty much agreed to let us use them for the rest of the year! Like buying us pizza, in-n-out etc. And now they have to buy all the crapy items we sell for our fundraisers. Life is good

DUBLIN, Ohio -- Dozens of high school students were arrested after an apparent prank early Friday morning.

More than 100 Hilliard Davidson High School students showed up at Dublin Coffman High School at around 12:45 a.m.

The group wanted to paint their school colors on Coffman's spirit rock outside the school, NewsChannel 4 reported.

When police arrived, authorities said that some of the students threw spray paint cans at them. Police called for backup and arrested 119 people, most of them students.


No one was hurt, but Dublin police said that two cruisers were damaged. The students' charges will range from criminal trespassing to criminal damaging.

Charges of disorderly conduct and underage possession of alcohol were filed against an 18-year-old, police said.

Dublin Coffman students repainted the rock in the school's colors later in the day.

We had catergorys for our Senior pranks, Winter, Spring and Summer and we'd pull a prank or more for each season. Everyone in my class was tight so like, my ENITRE senor class got in on it.

Winter:
*pulling 81 fire alarms...but setting off 2 more in 4 minute intervals

*since it gets MAD cold in NJ, and the wind can really pick up, everyone in our senior class got together to take a hose and spray water all over the parking lots...

*we bought about 500, no kidding dead fish down the Jersey shore, and we all got into the school with latters and heavy string at 12 midnight because some kid got the key...how I'll never know, but anyway, we cut out all the fishes eyes, and put a hole through them connecting all the fish on a heavy string type thing on both floors, and we attached it with nails to the ceiling...lol

*since I went to school in a rural area and we had a stable 10 minutes from our school which my friend's dad owned we got 2 horses on the main floor of the school

*we let out frogs in the principals office

*put live chickens in the cafeterias and in some halls (common one)

Summer:
*my HS didn't have air conditioning, well...only in some rooms, but in the halls it was HOT as hell, so...obviously one night we all got into the school by that same kid who had the key before, and took those big but portable fans and many extention cords and plugged them in in a classrooms and then lined them in the hallways. Funny sh*t.

*the next one was a little stupid, but we have a lounge area in our school and we bough POUNDS of sand, and then put sandbox toys in it..lol


...we over did it, true. But we didn't get in much trouble...its not like Seniors wont DO anything...ya know? gotta love it.

We don't really have senior pranks at our school. Though we do "throw" freshmen into freshmen pond. Basically what the pond is, is our school has a drainage problem so anytime it rains all the sidewalks and the grass is flooded so we shove them in there.

When the seniors gradute this year they want to all give their ID cards to mr.bressler as they get their diplomas....he is so annoying. Everyone hates him because he is so strict about ID cards..
