rear-projection or plasma? |

me and my dad have been wanting to buy a big screen tv for a while, but we are so confused about whether to get a plasma tv that's 42 inch for over a thousand to 2 thousand or go for a big bulky rear projection plasma that has like a 56 inch screen, what is your opinion? I really want to get a plasma but i'm confused about why projections are so cheap and yet people say the quality is so good? help me!

rear projection is not good for videogames. so if you're a gamer, don't get rear projection.
i think plasma is good, but darker colors aren't as good quality. or that might be the problem with lcd's. let me check... |
