i would make both the nav and the blog area black. and the background too, but i absolutly adore the banner! nice job!

It's a bit too dark and bright red for my taste! lol But it's not about my taste now is it!? It's about your work and it looks like a well put together skin. Not hard to read or to follow, so GOOD JOB!
