The swirls on the back of her blogheader is a background. Just make a background for your blogheader (make it small so you can actually see the swirls) and then put

in your Header HTML and it should work.

You can make a background that'll fit your whole xanga in Photoshop. Just make it 1024 x 768 pixels and then upload and put it in the slot for a background image in the bottom of the look and feel.

You don't have to make it small, if you have a 1024 x 768 resolution, then a background that size would be perfect.

Make the swirls smaller than you would normally so yo can see them when you stick them on your blogheader.

background for what? x_angawhomps was talking about the background for the blogheader, which is 385 x 15 pixels (based on your xanga). so you only need it to be 385 x 15. if you're creating a background for your entire window, that's a different story.
