Now, the last time I went to the salon, I told the woman to give me layers, and that she did alright. She made the top the shortest, under that, medium length, and under that the longest length, it it just TOUCHED the top of my shoulders. Now, my hair is the same length and they all go down a little past my shoulders...probably an inch or so. I know other people know what LAYERS are, kind of that face-framing deal - but I don't know what to ask for - long or graduated layers...what's the difference?

any help is appreciated!!
thanks!!

I don't really know the difference between the two, but long layers are adorable.
