Wowzah.
Been to any school dances yet?
Do you like them?
Well. I just got back from one.. first one of the year. A tad bit boring if I do say so myself. They're usually a bit more entertaining.

Anywhoo, have you guys had one yet for your schools??

Let's see even if we did have dances, I wouldn't go. I'm a social reject and I would not like to socialize.. yeah, I'm antisocial too. Amazing how I end up in people staff in createblog, right? laugh.gif

No, because jr high sucks ass _dry.gif Can't wait til next year!

But if I were in high school, Homecoming would be around here. However, in 8th grade we have a Valentine's Dance and a boat trip at Navy Pier. I don't think either is as elaborate except for the boat trip.

I LOVE dances, I would honestly go to all of them in high school. Even if I have to go by myself tongue.gif

Nope, not yet. I think we're having a back to school dance this Friday, though, we have dances every month or so.
I'm not going; it's usually cheap, and not that fun anywho, unless you go with a friend.

Last Wednesday was our first, and it really ... sucked. well, they always had. but this time it was disgusting, seeing those seventh graders act like sluts and bellydancing. and watching people slow dance is almost funny. they don't even 'dance.' more like standing there.

Yes, there was a back to school dance, but it was only for 9-11 graders since that's the new rule. No dances with grades 7-11 mixed together. I'm not sure about 12th. It sucks though 'cause yeah. So, we get another back to school dance for only 7th and 8th graders.. sad.gif

homecoming was friday.. but I didn't go because I was hanging out wih friends. From what I remember of homecoming last year, I wouldn't have wanted to go anyways. The last theme was a "Ho Down". And then I had rumors spread about me at the dance, so it wasn't really fun. Maybe the Halloween dance, though =]

but i'm required to go to the valentines's dance and i think the rotc ball (both in february), which i'm not sure if that counts as one.

mellow.gif I've never been to a school dance before, 'cause I started homeschooling in 5th grade. There weren't any in elementary school.

Though one of my summer camps this year had a 'Pajama Jam' on the last night of camp. We all had a blast, it rocked! happy.gif And sadly, yes, that was my first dance. rolleyes.gif

I can't wait. Except I hear they are more strict than my old school. No dirty dancing and all that. sweating.gif

Only dances we have are homecoming and prom. Homecoming is October 22, but I'm not going

The band camp dance was almost like a school dance...even though it wasn't for the whole school, at school, in the same city as school, or during the school year. Still, it almost counts as a school dance. I spent most of it sitting on the stairs talking to friends. I went into the gym to listen to Postal Service, I left and cowered in the bathroom when Jessica Simpson came on. I danced one dance with a guy. Don't remember what song, but it wsa the last slow dance. Mean as it sounds, I'm really glad my friends's boyfriend got sick and had to go home, because it wouldn't have been as fun without her. We're always antiparticipational together.
