don't do drugs... plan and simple.

linebackers, you got to be strong and have upper body strenght so do some work outs like butterfly press and push ups, and lot of of things things that increase your upper body.

don't you have to be a certain weight to be linebacker?

gain more weight? thats pretty good for a high school linebacker...i'd suggest like chopping yer feet and do updowns alot or something because linebackers have to be quick on their feet and always be moving them...also practice is good so u can read the moves of the tailback or fullback and see which direction they're going
oh and u have to have a good attitude, u can't learn to hit hard, it has to be like in your head and heart...good hitting makes the guy scare and screw up in the game

btw i have my first game tomorrow of the season but im jv

hmm well im no line backer i play wide receiver =) but.. here

"DEFEATING LEAD BLOCKS. (These blocks are more difficult to pick up since the linebacker is looking for the Running Back with the ball and may miss the Running Back coming in for the block.) Feet - the first step is directly toward the blocking offensive lineman... Knees - bent... Shoulders - the shoulder pads make contact with the lineman... Arms - the next contact is with the nearest forearm to the lineman.... Hands - next, the far palm forces the lineman off balance... Inside Linebacker. Feet - the first step is directly toward the blocking offensive lineman... Knees - bent... Shoulders - the shoulder pads make contact with the lineman... Arms - the next contact is with the nearest forearm to the lineman.... Hands - next, the far palm forces the lineman off balance.

and..

"The Outside Linebacker Blocking a Running Back/Inside Linebacker Blocking a Guard.
Feet - about two steps from the running back, the linebacker takes a step to one side or the other, the next step is in the opposite direction... Near Hand - grabs behind the running back's shoulder pad... Far Arm - extends over the running back's head driving the arm into the running back's shoulder blade... Inside Shoulder - lowers... Inside Arm - moves forward and up... Hips - power past the blocker. "

that kinda help?
