AIM sounds...
do you have them on or off?

I have them off...because if I had to hear a sound for every IM I got, I would go crazy. Not saying that I get a lot...sometimes I do. Blah, the point is...AIM sounds make me go mad.

My speakers in general are always off unless i want to listen to something. So that means my AIM sounds are off. =)

I have mine on since I usually leave the computer running and do other things in the same room... so I like knowing when someone talks to me.

Which actually isn't that often anymore... now I never IM people first, I wait for messages. Maybe I should change that...

mines are on and off from time to time, hate it when im doing something and when aim pops up with some IM or alert then i mess up on what i was doing. especially annoying when im working with PS and it pops up

mine are off. a few months ago i kept it on, and then the AOL commercial came on the tv and it played the noise, and i thought someone i/med me, but no one did T_T lol

Mine are off, but my speakers arent working. But for some reason whenever I IM someone, I get this annoying beeping sound. Its too loud for my liking. I hate it :X
I dont know how to get rid of it either

i have them on.. even though im very annoyed of them. thats why i try to find the softest sounding one. without them tho, i would never realize i have an im.
