I've noticed that a lot of asians play tennis in my school. Is that happening in ya'lls schools? It's like asians are trying to take over a sport or something...
Black people have basketball
white people have racing
hispanics have umm...baseball?
and asians have tennis!
Everybody has a sport now!

yah, but I'm just wondering why asian people do that cuz my friend joined tennis just to see the asian girls...
oh and sorry if i was stereotypical or anything, im just curious.

.. Um.. Actually,not for tennis. Maybe like a little less than half the JV tennis team was Asian.

Actually, it's a known fact that Asians take over the BADMINTON sport. NO, I do NOT mean that only asians are allowed to play badminton. I'm saying that the dominant race that plays badminton is Asian. If there is NO badminton at your school, they tend to shift to the sport of tennis or other sports.

It's badminton for us. Badminton's fun =P

its cuz asians are so short, so the only sport they play is tennis. and besides, a lot of asians living in asia play ping pong and its similar to tennis

uh.....im mostly asian and i play tennis...but my team is diverse, white indian,mexican,asian, and so on.... and most i noticed alot of indians play tennis on the team around the bay area...

and why would being short make u better for tennis? u gotta jump and crap whenever u hit,thats not an advantage.... trust me having height is better,specially on smashes and serve..... "its like asian are tryin to take over a sport" .......? wuts that suppose to mean? we arent good at sports?

well..... yea...... my skool has a tennis team, itz lyke all asians, but itz onli a few pplz though, not mani pplz, since da tennis team ain't dat big nor does it need 2 b dat big

Ohh ok sorry. Like I said before, wasn't trying to be stereotypical or even rascist. I was just wondering if this happed at other places...i guess i just should've reworded it differently or something. nope... when I was in high school, all the people on the tennis team/squad or whatever were mostly white people... _smile.gif but then again, there were only like 15 asian people in the whole school... so yeh _smile.gif and I don't think one particular race plays only one sport... they choose a sport because they enjoy it or they are good at it.. not because of their race... biggrin.gif

we asians kick ass, yea, i'll going to try and play tennis for my school for the fun of it. i stuck at badmittin though

but remember, like I said, alot of Asians play tennis, but asians are minaly dominant in badminton IF there was badminton at your school.

our tennis team is mostly asian. But our grl's team's best player is white.

Our dragonboat team is 100% all asian this year tho. O.O

but dragonboat aint relli a big sport, hehe

Hmmm... well, the town i live in mostly consists of white people. There are very, very very little asian people ermm.gif But I never thought of that, but we don't have a tennis team... There is one for the highschool, but I don't think anyone else does. And there's like no one i know who plays tennis... ermm.gif

At my school black kids play mostly all sports. (My school is in ghetto)
Racing = track?
Southern Americans play Soccer, but so do I.
I think the tennis team is mixed well though. Probably mostly white.

yeah it is kinda stereotypical. people play what they play. its like saying "white men can't jump" when it comes to basketball or stuff like that. just because someone is a certain race means they're good at a certain sport or anything for that matter.

A lot of asians playing tennis...TRUE!...but if you look at the "big leagues"...like the pros and stuff...most of them are white!...but lets not get stereotypical here...I LOVE TENNIS!

and being short is definitely NOT an advantage!
