if you were lost in the street, would you ask someone near you for help or would you figure out yourself?

well for me, i get reallie scared that i cannot figure out it myself cause im dumb in directions rofl... so yeah i rather ask...one time i was lost in a street and i asked about 12 ppls...cause i forget easily-_-;;; well that time i didnt had a pen/pencil and a paper so yeah...ehh-_-;;; and no cellular phone! -_-;;

yea, i wouldn't ask someone who knows where they might show you. probably even tell you the wrong street to get you lost some more

i would or use my cell, but if i didn't have my cell, then i would find the police station.

I hate being lost so I would definitely ask someone, I know at least 1 out of 5 people I ask will be nice enough to tell me the RIGHT directions, if not, just keep asking, it's better than continue being lost

haha, same here. i usually don't ask anyone for directions, i try to find my own way around. but only when i'm really lost, i'll ask for help

i would ask sum 1 for help.. Or jus use my cell phone.. But if i was driving my mom or dads car, i would use the Nagivational system.. Whew.. Thankx for thoes..

I got lost on the streets when I was like 11. I was stuck in the russian area of Brooklyn and couldn't figure out how to get home. I ask some of the people their and they said "No Speak English". I was like WTF you don't speak english, you just said no speak english in english.

Anyways, I found a nice couple who first tried to get money to go home but then they decided just to drive me a block away from my home. They were really nice. I would have found the way but was getting dark and couldn't tell one street from another.

I got lost 2 hours today in Rhode Island and ended up having to ask 2 people for help. I get super paranoid around people and get scared, but I was scared of being lost so I didn't care and asked. I was lead the right way. AND I WAS ON FOOT.

Unless I was in an unfamiliar place.

im have no sense of directions as well so i dislike going to places by mself and yeah i might cry if im totally cluess where im at or maybe..consider asking someone for directions or just call someone to pick me up

Hmmm. Some of you are too scared to ask strangers and some of you wuold just seizure on the ground that you were standing on.

For one thing, not all strangers are serial killers/rapists/a-holes. Just find a official business ilke a walmart/k-mart/ and go inside and ask for help. If you cannot find any then resort to local businesses that have many people inside. Use common knowledge if you see a dirty old hobo that looks like he'll cut you if you talk to him; DONT ASK HIM -duh. On the other hand if you see a couple or a family together ask nicely to them.

if i were lost in the street, i would look for the sidewalk, ask some bus driver, and feel really stupid for getting myself lost. only if i don't have my handy dandy cell phone with me.
