buh see the thing is. i told him before we ever started dating that i don date guys that smoke or anything and he told me he quit so im like okay cool thanks and i was so happie buh then all his other friends come up to me and tell me that he has been smoking behind muh bac and stuff and i dont know who to believe because u cant just stop smoking in a week. and i asked him about it and he tells me he does it once in a while and his mom and dad no about it but dont do anything about it and the thing is, is that he is only 15 years old.

You should tell him how you feel. Is he an addict? Try to help him quit. My sister's bf smokes ALOT, but not when she's around cause I guess he knows it bothers her. He's trying to quit, I believe, but he still does smoke. But he's slowly getting off his addiction.
If he won't quit for you, then he's not a very good boyfriend. He should try to make you happy and he should know how bad it is for his health! My boyfriend smoked like um.. I think 3-4 times now. But my bf drinks lol. DAMN HIS CORONAS! Anyways drinking can be just as addicting as smoking and it takes years off one's life. Help him quit. If he's not willing to quit, then he's not worth your time. When you two got together, you should've started to try to get him to quit. |

i've got a friend in a similar situation, but he didn't do it behind her back... she told him everyday that it wasn't going to work out, and once she threatened to break up with him, and he quit for a while. it takes a lot of talking... not just to him, but to his friends and stuff... you gotta get him at all sides, so she says.
but if he's lying to you about smoking... where's the trust in this relationship? |

if I were you, Id dump him. I dont want a bf that does/has ever done that kind of stuff. but I duno, thats just me. try to get him to stop, and if he doesnt listen then I think you know what you need to do.

IF i were you I'd dump him... There are just soemthings that really get me ticked off and smoking is one of them. It was a rule that you set before hand and you should really stick to what you think is right. And plus if he knows that you dont like it when he smokes and he does it anyways think about how much he really cares for you... Im just the type of guy who takes relationships very seriously, and I dont settle for second best and smoking is one of those things where points get taken away. talk to you later

it depends, how much do you care about him? i love my bf and he smokes, well used to, and i just encouraged him to quit. he did...but even if he didn't, i would've stayed with him. you should love people dispite their flaws..
