sit-ups, you go all the way up, crunches, you go halfway up.

crunches are more effective b/c w/ situps, you just waste time by going all the way up to your knees.

i dunno if that made sense.

situps emphasize your back, so they workout the torso and the back also....and crunches stress only da abs.

hypers.. workout ur lower back.. but im not talkin about that.. REVERSE hypers.. u use the same stand.. but u do it.. so ur back lays on the stand.. n u.. do up n down... O_O haha.. iono how can i explain... but if i had pics.. i can show...

the weights just makes it heavy.. if ur doing ur crunchs or sit-ups on the incline... if not.. no use for the weights...

everytime i train.. its always wit weights.. cuz... yea.. besides the 5 mile runs.. the some other runs.. we carry people on out backs.. i carry like 125lbs i guess? n i have to beat the clock

crunches are easier and you dont go up all the way

So while you do situps/cruches with weights you put them on your abs? I see....

crunches only work out the top of ur abs,u wont get a 6 pack just doing crunches, and most of the time lazy people who dont do sit ups and prefer crunches, end up dong crnches wrong anyways and just move their neck up and down...

sit ups work the top 4 abs, your and ur back, and ur ower part of ur pecks lol....so yea there is a difference........

and if ur stomache isnt sucked in or flat when ur doing any of these, they arent gonna work very well

How the hell does sucking in your stomach make it work better? Trying to suffocate you or something?

as a lot of ppl sed already, crunches work on ur abs and sit ups work on ur lower back.
u shud maintain a balance between sit ups and crunches otherwise ur back will hurt realli easily
n do dem on an incline, it helps much more

because ur working out ur muscles rather than just scrunching up ur fat. lol thats why when ur taking a break from doing crunches and situps u should practice "stomache vacuum" breathing/exercise
