Okay....
Is it possible that you have left on in CLAF? (By that I mean do you have left on as your choice) If so, you'll need to switch it to center. ~* Edit *~ Oh, and it helps if you provide a link. |

the one i found in xanga scripts under display...
<!-- begin code provided by createblog.com --> <script language="JavaScript"> // Script Created by Mystical for Createblog.com // http://xiphin.com <!-- if(location.pathname=='/home.aspx') { document.write("<style type=text/css>table.left, td.mainleft{display: none;} </style>") } if(location.pathname=='/item.aspx') { document.write("<style type=text/css>table.left, td.mainleft{display: none;} </style>") } if(location.pathname=='/profile.aspx') { document.write("<style type=text/css>table.left, td.mainleft{display: none;} </style>") } else { if(location.pathname=='/private/home.aspx') document.write("<!--Display MODULE-->") } //--> </script> <!-- end code provided by createblog.com --> |

it belongs in the header i think.. but when you're in private view you won't be able to see the left modules at all.. the code you used earlier is the one that lets you see it in private view but not public view.. which one did you want to do?

i want it completely gone but the one that lets you see it in private was the only one i could find...
and the code you gave me gets ride of my entries part, even in my header. should i save it like that and send you the link? |

Stick in Header:
CODE <!-- begin code provided by createblog.com --> /* width of the comment page */ {width:245px;} .leftmoduletitlebar, .leftmoduleborder, .leftmoduleinterior, table.left, table.left TH, table.left TD, table.navigation, table.footer {display: none;} <!-- end code provided by createblog.com --> Input this in your stlyesheet. You might want to edit it, because it removes everything. Including the footer at the bottom. Anywhoo, that code will work fine for removing things. Oh, but you still want it centered, right? Hmm.... Lemme think about that one... (Oh, and this won't allow you to see you modules in private mode.) |

o.O
Okay, I was assuming you knew what you were doing and just had a problem. Hold on then, I'm gonna do this the long way. Input into Custom Header: CODE <!-- begin code provided by createblog.com --> <style type="text/css"> /*Name of Skin*/ /*By Whoever*/ body { cursor: crosshair; background-image:url(URL HERE); background-repeat: repeat-y-x; background-color: #FFFFFF; background-color: #FFFFFF; scrollbar-arrow-color: #B991C9; scrollbar-track-color: #FFFFFF; scrollbar-shadow-color: #B991C9; scrollbar-face-color: #B991C9; scrollbar-highlight-color: #B991C9; scrollbar-darkshadow-color: #FFFFFF; scrollbar-3dlight-color: #FFFFFF; } //blogringdocument.write .left, .blogbody, table.footer, .standard, .leftmodulefontcolor, td, p { /* edits main text */ font:normal 11px arial; line-height:10px; color:black; letter-spacing:0px; text-align:justify; } table.footer TD { /* this makes the footer at the bottom centered */ /* leave it alone unless you know what to do*/ text-align: center; } div.blogheader, .caption { /* edits the dates */ font-family:impact; text-transform:uppercase; font-size:16px; line-height:10px; font-weight:bold; color:#C991AE; letter-spacing:0px; background-color: #ffffff; text-align: left; } a:link, .footernav.link, a.footernav:link, a.footernav:active { /* edits all links */ color:#B991C9; font:normal 11px arial;line-height:10px; text-decoration: none; } //blogring.document.write a:visited, a.footernav:visited, { /* edits the links that the user has visited */ color:#B991C9; font:normal 11px arial; line-height:10px; text-decoration: none; } a:hover { /* edits when user mouseovers the links */ color:#9D91C9; font:normal 11px arial; line-height:10px; cursor: crosshair; text-decoration: none; } input, select, textarea, .textfield, .button { /* this edits the buttons, dropdowns, etc. */ border: 1px solid #c0c0c0; font:normal 11px arial; background-color: #FFFFFF; letter-spacing:0px; } table.left { /* this edits the menu module */ border: 1px solid #c0c0c0; width:160px; background-color: #FCEBFF; } table.blogbody { /* this edits the other the place where the blog is */ border: 0px solid c0c0c0; background-color: #ffffff; width:400px; } table.left th { /* on your menu module, this edits the title part of it */ /* like BLOGRINGS, POSTING CALENDAR, etc */ background-image: url(http://url.com/to/the/site/image.gif); background-color: #FCEBFF; font: bold 11px arial; text-transform: uppercase; color: #C991AE; border: none; } table.left TD { /* on your menu module, this edits the body part of it */ background-image: url(http://url.com/to/the/site/image.gif); background-color: #FFFFFF; border: none; } table.search TD, table.search, table.announcements { /* border of search bar (if you have it) */ background-color: #FCEBFF; border: 1px solid #c0c0c0; } table.search TD, table.announcements TH { /* this should be left alone */ /* unless you know what to do */ border: 0px solid #c0c0c0; } table.navigation, table.main, table.footer { /* the width of your blog with modules */ width: 500px; } hr { /* horizontal divider */ border: 1px solid #FCEBFF; } /* width of the comment page */ {width:245px;} .leftmoduletitlebar, .leftmoduleborder, .leftmoduleinterior, table.left, table.left TH, table.left TD, table.navigation, table.footer {display: none;} </style> <!-- end code provided by createblog.com --> Fill in your own values, because I'm just too lazy to steal your codes and clone them. Uh... Not that I ever do that anywayz...... (You were using a stylesheet already though. It just wasn't a vey good one.) (I hope you can figure this out. If not, IM me.) |
