lol a hand? haha u pressing the wrong button then... the shape is not a hand, but looks like a brush button.

left click on it and a whole bunch of other icons will pop up them you choose from them

ooOh! That happened to me several times and no matter what took I clicked on, it's still the hand. Just SAVE your picture first and then reopen it in about 2 minutes. There's nothing wrong with it or at least I think.
