Okay here’s how it is:
-My ex wants to get back with me. -and i'm considering getting back with him because i think there's still something there, if you know what i mean.. -but my friends don't like him because they think he's a jerk and that he's too sensitive. -and he doesn't like them because he thinks they're too judgemental/critical of him.  but i know that if i do get with him, it's gonna be awkward, but i like him and my friends are the best friends in the world and it's just confusing, what should i do? |

i'd saii, hmm. go for the friends. cuz no matter what they'll always be there for you. well, thats from my point of view. but its up to u if u reallie have strong feelings for him.

yeah true, but i'm not sure if i like him that much.. and i don't think i'm gonna be losing my friends or anything, but they just don't like him for some reason, they've never been in friendly terms. i'm just afraid that my friends will clash with him and it's just gonna be chaotic, but is it really worth it?

Well, it does sound lyke your friends are a bit judgemental, and I think your ex should understand that you just can't give up your friends for him. Try getting them to be friends or something.

thanks soo much guys, all this advice really made me think. i think i'm gonna hold off on the boyfriend(he'll have to understand if he really cared for me) and see what happens, and if it's really worth putting friends on the line.

Why did you and your ex break up in the first place? I would say go with your friend though because they know you for quite a long time (right?) and they should know best for you and wouldn't tell lies, but that's just me. I know my friends. Do you?

that same thing happened 2 me. my friends didn't really lyk my ex....and he found them kinda weird. but we're now going out again and everythings good. my friends are still there and he is too!!

hm.. i think u should tell ur friends that if they dont respect u for who u like.. then they dont respect u.. i mean.. ur friends are supposed the b there and respect ur choices but also help u pick them.. but u hav the bigger part in it.. or u could try to help ur friends get to kno him more and let ur ex get to kno ur friends more.. but.. just follow ur heart i guess.. w/e will make u happy..
