Backround image for art, help me... please??? Options

I need help! I want to add art as my backround... but every time I put the description on the Backround Image... My friends can't see it !!! please sum1 help me with this??? please?

as art.. i'm thinking you would mean the background picture or something of that kind.. (sorry if i'm not correct )
hoom did u upload it to a site?
cause if you are just using location on your hard drive..
there's no way the other people would be able to see it
you have to put it on the web first..

if you didn't i you could create an account with free web hosts such as Angelfire orGeocities..
but those are kinda ehh on remote linking
so i would recommend Photobucket to put your pics n remote linking them to xangaa

thnx... But, I'm on xanga. www.xanga.com/frederick_varias . I just wanted to add a backround straight from my computer. But, my friends sed they cant see it... So, I think I could only put backrounds with themes? Is that right?

I know that you are on xanga..
when you add a background form your computer you have to first have it out there on the internet somewhere so other people could access it..
if you open a free account with any of those sites
(use photobucket for this purpose.. other sitez r stingy w/ bandwidth n suspend your accounts)
you can upload your pictures.. n get the url for the pictures..
n then you put that url as your background image on your xanga
( i'm guessing you are using that lil entry box that xanga provides in the CLAF.. put the url there)
if you do it.. whenever your friends access your xanga they will be able to see hte image because it will already be on the web n they are juss calling it to their browser
