How do you become a mod? Is there any special qualifications or something or....?? Sorry if this isn't in the right place or whatever...just was something i was wondering!

From what I know, you have to PM Micron if you wanna be a mod. If only he approves. Outside of that, you have to be responsible, helpful, etc.

Well it depends on what your skill is.. Have you read that one Staff thread on what types of staff there is? You don't really have to PM Micron to become a mod. There's nominations and stuff.

you have to post A LOT.
Well, when I was mod, I only had 400 posts...You also have to be an official member. You have to have joined at least 1 week, and submit skins and/or scripts. |

1. get to know the mods
2. be friendly with them 3. get to know the administrators 4. post more than 1000th post so we know that u are a pride of createblog (but PLEASE DONT SPAM!!) 5. get an official member too lol 6. join createblog blogring 7. get the createblog affliates and put it into ur xanga to let everyone see it 8. dont double topic 9. read the guidelines 10. no bashing other members (im reallie sick of hearing it T_T) 11. createblog community has to be friendly!!!!!! 12. dont post rated r topics T_T & dont cuss like f*ck b*tch... u know wat im talking bot. . . . . hehe after all of that... ask the mods if u want to be a people staff and........ wait for someone to vote for u. |

Yeah. Susan just named pretty much all of it.
Mostly just be active and friendly and if you have skill, show it! Yeah, and PMing Micron wouldn't hurt.

You really don't have to post a lot.
Look at angel_r0h and latinalady. I don't see them being people staff. But then you do need to show some kind of dedication. Yeah.
It all depends on what type of mod you want to be.. If you want to be design staff, xanga staff, etc, you have to stand out with your designs and such. If you want to be people staff, just be friendly, active, and make some friends, and you're most likely a good candidate for that type of staff. |
