my friends birthday is comming up soon and she's japanese and doesn't understand english very well. i just wanted to know how to say happy birthday in japanese written in romanji, is this how you write it " O tanjoobi omedetoo gozaimasu" ? many thanks

you don't have to say "happy birthday" in japanese to make her happy, just get her a card that has a pic represent birthday. She'll like it.

shes sort of like a penpal, the only way we communicate is through email. she lives in japan and i live in thanks u.s. thanks for the thought though
my ghetto card (thats not me in the card) thought it might be nice to included a pic of her on my ghetto card.

umm i asked my friend who speaks japanese fluently what happy birthday in japanese was and he told me:
otanjoubiomedetougozaimasu <--- my gosh thats long but yea if u write it in romanji i dont think it will be able to fit. but yea if u want to find it anyway look up: o, ta, n, jo(jyo), u, bi, o, me, de, to, u, go, za, i, ma, su. u mite have to look up each character individually in hiragana |
