You go to control panel and then Appearance, and stuff...
In the left should be a thing that says Fonts. Just drag the font (TrueFont file) and it should install in there. If it's a zip file, first unzip it, then drag the .ttf file in there. =] |

Photoshop uses the fonts from windows install them from your control
panel. Open the fonts folder in the control Panel go to File / install new fonts. The C/Program Files/Common Files/Adobe/Fonts are just what you see in the photoshop program {tools and so on} the fonts for the Photoshop text are shared with windows. Note: Photoshop may not see all fonts. I GOT THIS ONLINE...IS THIS RIGHT? IF I ALREADY HAVE THEM DOWNLOADED ON THE COMPUTER/WINDOWS, ARE THEY AVAILABLE TO USE ON PHOTOSHOP?! |

Yup, that's correct.
Just download the font, extract/unzip it (if you're using an old computer, go to winzip.com to download the unzipping program) and then drag it into your Fonts Folder (Start > Control Panel > Fonts). |
