i think theres somethin wrong with me... i can't fall asleep within an hour i go to bed!!!.... i'm serious.. i mean last night i went to bed at like... 12..... but fell asleep around 4 tha last time i checked..... augh... it pisses me off.... i wanted to wake up early but i woke up at like 11:30.. can anyone give me advice on how to fall alseep faster???? sad.gif

umm..i don't really understand what you're saying..maybe try like lying in your bed & trying to calm down earlier?? i dunno..

i'm the same 2. i went 2 bed at 10:30 n couldnt sleep 4 about 3 hours! itz probably because i was anxious or i think 2 much. iono maybe next time u should wake up early like way early that u feel sleepy. i tried 2 tire myself out doing chores. lol i think i have a sleeping disorder. maybe becuz summer makes me hyped. lol laugh.gif

It's 12 noon(no, not midnight). I still haven't slept. I usually get in bed around 11 pm.

whoa...same thing with me. I'll try to go to bed early but i end up not falling asleep until really late and i dont usually rememeber when i fall do asleep. I think it's because i think too much ermm.gif.

maybe you should try deep breathing and just relax and you'll fall asleep?? _unsure.gif

i usually end up falling asleep around 12 or 1 and being soooo tired when i wake up. i asked my mom about trying sleeping pills, but she said no cause they're addictive. >< i'd like to fall asleep earlier too..

mmm i usually fall asleep 2 hours later... i either listin to music or play game boy untill im tired... or u can close ur eyes and imingine stuff laugh.gif

Drink warm milk? Or Listen to classical music. You can also just take sleeping pills if its a big problem.

Do a lot of sports during the day time, and they'll get you tried so you'll sleep faster.

i had the same problem.

but then i had to read ben franklins autobiography and it changed my life

because whenever i would pick it up to read it i would fall asleep.

thus, my insomnia cured

solution-buy ben franklin. its the best waste of $4 youll ever spend that wont be a total waste

I can't fall asleep either .... I went to bed @ 1 and fell asleep four hours later.. gosh i'm just lying there going like mellow.gif .. i try thinkin bout happy things to calm me down but i have nothing happy to think about ... =.= or you can try tirin yerself our before going to bed

yeah, that's just like me. it's hard for me to sleep nowadays. i try to sleep at 12, andend up sleeping at 2ish. but when school starts, i'm gonna have to sleep earlier.

all you gotta do is relax. If you don't get atleast 7 hours of sleep a night it could be bad for u... just think about that when your tryin to go to sleep.

get a nightly "routine"
like, every night take a shower, then read a book, then listen to music, then drink milk and hit the sack
orr any variation of that, i suppose - don't be too active near bedtime though

It takes me three hours to get to sleep. It's because I run EVERYTHING that happened today when I go to sleep. If you think about tons of stuff before you sleep, you're going to stay awake. I think of the night as a peaceful place where I can't get disturbed, so I use it to think about stuff.
