hey i doubt ppl culd help but i jus wana get this out in the open. i m meetin a guy iv never met b4 but i kno him frum ppl i kno so he isnt sum internet paedophile. prob. is im REALLY shy, netips on wat 2 say n act? coz i think im gna bore him 2 death...dusnt matter if no1 s got nuthin 2 say, but even sayin hi myte cheer me up..

first of all be yourself...but less shy? um... just try to get to know him better, asking basic questions,and when he answers and something in his answer sparks a comment in ur head,say it... yea just try to get to know him

if your that nervous about it maybe u shouldnt go through with it?
but chances are if u are nervous he is probably nervous too. just relax, and try to have a good time. and since he is a friend of your friends or whatever... what is the worse thin gthat could happen...

just like every1 else said...just be urself don try 2 act all cool or w/e just b urself....if u are nervous then 4sure the guy is nervous 2 it happens...just make sure 2 smile alot when he says something nice...blushing works! it makes the guy think its cute ha...well good luck

yea before you go meet this guy ... maybe you should have some questions all planned out .. that way when you are talkin` with this guy you won`t have to think of questions right then & there .. you`ll have them all ready ... mb try to find some things you two have in common .. then you`ll have a real converstaion going ! =D

ohh awkward silences i cant stand either!
just be yourself (showing off is kinda lying). but, you can gather some courage and have one of your loud girlfriends talk to him with you! then you can think of topics or talk about the weekend. or offer to hang out with some friends at the mall or beach or whatever.  good luck!!
