Dir En Grey (j-rock), anyone heard of them?

its a j-rock band.. the consist of die, kyo, kauro, shinya and toshiya they seem very popular nowadays.. anyone heard of them? i've only heard their songs um cage.. Obsecure, and i saw their Pvs Yokan (<-- good song) and i think its call raison detrepy.. anyone else heard of them or have a little info on them? (i think shinya is pretty as a girl =] and his dog is adorable and it like royality) (and DIE IS HOTT!)

i've heard of them!! their genre is called "visual kei," which means that their extreme image reflects their extreme music. hayashi yoshiki (former member of x japan) signed them under his label way back when and helped them launch their debut album. i love x japan (my FAVORITE), malice mizer, and l'Arc en ciel too.. awesome music _smile.gif

Especially my Daisuke-san~~ Daisuke is also know as Die -_-.. so yea!
Hello!! i've been obsessed with them for almost a year now -_-;;

They are so good +A+ and



SHUT UP ALL OF YOU WHO THINK THEY ARE GAY

because they're not, and thats a pretty old picture of them -_-
they've changed alot since then..


the picture i attached is their last single concept for The Final..
and they have a new single out called "Saku.." and i don't have a group picture for that one...


but Jrock is really good.



and they are all guys, and i don't think they are a Visual Kei band anymore -_- even though they still look extreme i think its gotten WAY better...



But Die during the Macabre was the thing that caught my heart >A<

yeah i know those guys, the bass player is really talented. Most japanese bass players are really good!

i like them..i heard a few songs from them. i loved yokan..i hope i spelled it right. i like the way they dress :) it's unique.

Miya. Love that guy & I love watching him play. Toshiya IS a really good bassist.. Yukke from MUCC is pretty amazing too.

Dir En Grey's way too hardcore for me although Toshiya and Shinya do capture my attention

Yes i know theyre all dudes -_- and no im not gay. they play really good.

Jesus, loooooove them. I love the video for Obscure. One of my personal favorites. And they are so flawlessly good-looking. As good-looking as asians will get. =X

I have heard of them, but I never heard any of their songs. I don't like j-rock. Or any anime-related music.

I've heard of them. I know a lot of people who like them. I tried getting into them, but I overestimated my ability to listen to a band I couldn't understand and they're a bit too "heavy" for me.

Wow... I've definitely have heard of them.. just haven't really listened to them for a while. I confuse them with some other Jrock band.

Yeah, they're one of the biggest J-rock bands out there right now. Their video for "Clever Sleazoid" was premiered on FUSE not too long ago.

I don't like their music that much, though. There's too much screaming in it for me.
