xanga doesn't run off many ads. createblog has google ads... xanga has like... 5 ads that rotate in thier banner.
premium is the way to support xanga. it's not unfair, it's life. |

Xanga has a few ads that people don't usually click on, that often advertise help topics FOR OUR GOOD, and aren't those big flashy retarded ones.

when you want something extra, of course you have to pay for it. And for the banners at the top, it isn't that bad as long as it isn't those annoying pop-ups then it's fine.
Also if xanga premium was free, then xanga would probably close... can you imagine the number of people who go to Xanga every day? |

i think its fair to have to pay for premium. they give us the standard xanga for free, im thankful for that. regular xanga allows alot, and gives us alot of the same similar options in premium. they gotta make money somehow.

Well come on...it costs a lot of money to run as grand a website as Xanga...
And 100 dollars isn't that tough to come by. I threw a Ben Franklin to the Xanga folks, and now I have premium for life... |

I don't even have premium, but I think it's all good because you can still create a good site even without. The only "extras" I know is that you can put entries protected and add more than 10 people. Plus, getting the ad removed, but I don't care much about that..so yeaps |

Premium is not unfair. i think it's very cool
but, what if the person wants to have a another xanga and the premuim is still charged on the other xanga? jsut a thought... Premium is deinfetley the way to go if you have that kind of money..((which i dont  ))and if it werent for premium, we wouldnt be here on CB! YAE FOR PREMIUM! |

This is what I think. Xanga should upgrade their "Basic" service to "Premium" status but still be free. And the "Premium" status would contain 3 extra modules and more features.

The only way xanga EVEN makes money is because of premium and those ads. You don't see many free things in life. Would you rather have a blog on angelfire with 7 different pop ups EVERYTIME you visit the page? I think NOT! And plus, whoever uses the adremover code and they find out, those people can get their xangas deleted. Xanga has helped us keep our own little blog and has helped us meet so many new people. Yet, there are those whiners that complaint hat it's not enough, that all that stuff should be free. And NO, honey, in the end, nothing in life is truly free (no, love doesn't count, and being born doesn't count or anything like that).
