Hello! I have two questions that I really hope someone can answer! One: how can I, on a black and white picture, select only a certain part of the picture and change the color of it to like red or blue? And Two: Whenever I use the magnetic lasso tool, after I'm done tracing what I want, I get this error msg about pixels not being visible. Can someone help me? Thank you!

Hmm...I'm not sure about the first question but you should check tutorials out in the big book of resources. The second of the magnetic lasso tool...you probably don't have the feathering thing set to 0px. You should check that out.

To do the just one thing in color. Make the whole image black and white. Then, change it back to rgb and trace whatever you want in with the pen tool.

press ctrl+U or is it Ctrl+L and change the hue/saturation and levels??? but that would change the whole pic wouldnt it huh....
u could work with that thoe... problem2: eh.. dont know. |

i think instead of RGB for the image you pick grayscale

If you select a part of your picture, it will only change the hue and saturation of that selected part. As for your second problem, make sure you're on the right layer. That's happened to me tons of time and it's always been that I wasn't on the right layer. |

What this person said. Or usually what I do is like, select the picture with the lasso or magnetic tool and get that certain stop. Then go to Image-> Adjustments-> Hue/Saturation or something like that to change the colors.. |
