i have kazaa lite and i was dling music and stuff the other day [note, it was a lot of music, but only maximum 7 at a time] .... then about a week later shaw cut off my internet and gave me a warning coz i upload/downloaded too much... do u think dling 7 at a time could be the cause? coz each song takes like 10 seconds to dl, shaw said i was usin like 49 gb/second.... does anyone know if kazaa lite might be the cause? if it is, how do i turn down the speed? if its not, does anyone kno some other reason? thx!
[PS.] i was dling movies (yes im a BT user ***shame on me sad.gif ****) but i set teh upload rate max 13 kb /second... do u think this mite be the cuase? i use bit tornado jus to let u kno
THX!!

What the f*** is shaw.

Anyway, your computer must suck ass if kazaa freaks it up. My computer is around 5 years old and it can download around 30 songs at a time.

your internet connection must have a downloaded bandwidth limit. They turned it off because u exceeded it just like how a website can shutdown if you go to the website and use up their limited bandwidth. Download too many stuff is the reason it got cut off, not how many speed. I suggest to not download alot of stuff or limit your downloads.

Maybe you just shouldn't be downloading in the first place. That's why they gave you the warning, isn't it?

there isn't any peer-to-peer "safer" than the other.

Hmmm...I definitely agree with some of you on the Kazaa thing...I used to have it and it TOTALLY messed up my computer...i somehow got some virus that ate away at my RAM (memory card) completely...and now, I cant really use Windows XP anymore...well, at least, I think (from what my stupid dad tells me wacko.gif) And my computer is new too, only like a year old and cost like $1500 so yea...be warned with these peer-to-peer software b@st@rds..eugh. I mean seriously, I was on neopets (lolz) and then out of nowhere my pc restarts and tells me that an internal system file is missing and I cant get on. Bleh I tried eveything too...calling the company peeps, asking my computer genius dad...and in da end nuthin worked. I had to even buy a new memory card that cost like $200 or more...I 4got. Oh and then I had to erase everything...including my FF8 music videos which I worked my a$$ off on. I couldnt even make back-up files of anything since everythin got screwed sad.gif (I had nortan anti-virus too--even that couldnt help). And now I'm stuck with an a$$whipe software--windows 2000 SERVER, which makes everythin even worse mad.gif I mean, I cant even download a video editing software! Not one! *sighs sadly* Okay, I'm a bit off topic but yeah...you guys really should think twice about these file sharing things...even if i use limewire now, lol, and that's classified as one of them but, whatever, I cant live without music pinch.gif So, you should just erase Kazaa lite...its made from Kazaa and kazaa sucks like a rotten b!tch so ya...try to get anything but and scan all your files for viruses. In addition, maybe you have some firewall set up thats not allowing you to download the files corretly? That happened to me once...

Trust me -- I've tried every p2p network out there to d/l my DVD's, and Ares Lite has been the fastest, least spyware-infested program yet.

I'm talking transfer raters of over 150.00k/b per second on my side.
