Guys, I think I found something cheap and easy that actually clears up your face!

Lets start from the beginning. This guy from Spain came to the city to give some speeches and stuff. My mom went to see him and bought his book on natural cures and stuff. I started looking through it and got to the acne section. He says that lemon juice works wonders, and it does. It really does. It is the lemon's acidic properties and the fact that its an antibiotic that work.

At first I didn't want to try it, but I was so desperate because nothing seemed to work with me that I tried it. And it really works!

Here's what you have to do. About an hour before you go to sleep wash your face with a mild cleanser to take away all the oil and dirt and makeup and all the good stuff. Then, take a lemon and cut it in half. Take one half and rub it all over your face and leave it on for an hour. Then after that, wash that off and squeeze the juice out of the lemon. Take that and wash your face with it (Watch your eyes. It *stings* pinch.gif ). Don't wash it off and don't dry it. Let the juice air dry and sleep with it on. Again, this *works*. This is coming from someone who's had acne problems since as long as I can remember, and this crap actually works.

One thing. If you're gonna try it, do it on a day when you're sure you won't go anywhere the next day. There's the possibility that your skin might dry up or get an allergic reaction or something, so, if you have nothing to do the next day, go ahead and try it!

Can you use the lemon juice that you buy in the little containers? or do you have to actually use a lemon?

The actual thing.
Nowadays hardly anything you eat is completely natural, hehe, but the actual lemon is better because it has less funky stuff and more of the natural stuff.

HaHa! That's not likely to happen. The most that can happen is a little dry skin. Nothing a little moisturizer can't help.

To be on the safe side you can always just do one or the other. I mean like either just rub the lemon half over your face (don't dry it off) or wash your face with the lemon juice and sleep with it. Try it out! happy.gif

Hmmm... sounds like it'd work!! I'll try it sometime when I have a lemon.

My acne isn't red or anything. All it is are these little bumps that feel like goosebumps. I dunno if that's actually acne or anything, but would that get rid of it? Cause Stridex doesn't on that stuff... _dry.gif

i'll stick with my prescribed medication

the only problem i see with this is having to deal with a sticky face. that will result in a dustier, dirtier face because dust and dirt particles will stick to your face. not only that, you won't be able to sleep on your side cuz your face will mess up your pillow.

but what do i know...i've never tried it

It really is sticky in the beginning. But I guess we can all just try to not sleep on our side before it dries up. And that doesn't take long. happy.gif As soon as it dries up it doesn't geel sticky at all. Maybe a little tight, but you wont feel it when you're sleeping. Of course, you can always put a towel over your pillow. And of course, you have to wash it off in the morning. happy.gif

It doesn't sting! Only if you have raw skin somewhere in your face. Trust me! It really doesn't sting.
And about the fan, why not? Whatever works the fastest! laugh.gif
