(sorry if this doesnt belong here)
ok, so recently ALL my friends have problems. i understand that. i mean, no ones life is perfect... so they all come crying to me, 'deanna HELP!!! .....' and of course me, being the selfless person i am, listen to them (if thats all i can do) try to halp them, give advice... but what about me??? ive got my own problems too  but heres the point of my post: dont you sometimes feel like people depend in you too much and forget that you may have your own problems?? |

i think you should tell them about your problems. if they're good friends, they'll listen. i mean, you've listened to them right? there's no reason they shouldnt listen to you. and if they dont listen, screw them.

i'd still give your friends the attention they deserve. but you need to take the initiative and tell your friends about your problems, so they can stop talking and listen for once |

yeah i would agree tat at times i feel tat ma frens are too independant on me when it comes to problem. imma known to be a problem solver i guess. i have to thank ma experience in life which allows me to communicate wit ppl wit ease. i dun know. tat's how i look at it. anyway, thing is, i can't be selfish. even if no one is able to help me wit ma own stuff or i can't find someone to confide in, guess i'll just have to be happy tat at least someone is happier than me. imma more worry for others at times den for maself. so yeah. heh...thanks guys...
but my friends really are great. i mean, they always come to me so i can play 'shrink' but i guess it sonly because im caring and selfless but i guess in the end its sorta my fault. i am more private than anyone in some way, and theyve sorta come to respect my privacy. but sometimes a little, 'hey, what's up?' or 'how are things for you?' wouldnt hurt... and these people have been my friends since elementary and middle school (we're gonna be SENIORS!!!)...so no way am i gonna let them go... im used to this, but i usually dont get so many problems at once!!! |

my friends come to me more than i go to them. its weird, im usually quiet about my problems unless our situations are the same. sometimes i like to keep my stuff personal but they still make me spill it. so much for keeping it a secret!

omgoodness i had this problem before. i was always there when a friends needed me. after a while i noticed that when i was feeling down or needed a friend, the ones i needed werent really there. it just made me feel like the friendships were just half-a$$. but i finally came to a breaking point and told them that they werent being there for me. and yea.

haha yea all the time, i help out my friends....ex girlfriends come to me crying and complaining about their new bf, friends come to me asking me how to do this or that, what they should do to get a girl or stuff like that, and family is another issue.
when i need some help i can only depend on a few people haha.....but yea most of the time people forget i have my problems issue drama and stress and act like their world is crumbling cuz something doesnt work out |

yea.. a lot of my friends have been constantly complaining about their life and whatnot. i've been trying to help but they just don't want to hear it and they just whine about it. they won't take any of my advice into consideration. i know that their life isn't perfect.. but mine's not either. i dunno, they just think the whole world's against them.

hehe yeah same here..but yanno..to be a good friend..u should listen to their problems..i mean isn that what "friends" is all about??..i mean say you just broke up with ur boyfriend in the worst way possible..wouldn't you want your friends to listen to you??? wouldn't you want them to give you the best advice possible?? wouldn't you want them to be there for you????..you should think about that...treat others the way you wanna be treated..i mean..just warnin you..if you ditch your friends and dont give them the time they really and desperately need for you to listen to them and just be there for them..when the time comes around..when ur hurt just like they were..they wont be there for u girl..im tellin u..u gotta give..just not take..hope this helped! good luck!!
