i think "true" love should last forever... but a lot of times, what you thought was "love" turned out to be just "like" in the long run.
Anyways, who are we to say if you are in love or not? If you really think that you are in love, then you don't have to ask us. It shouldn't matter what we say... if we tell you "nah, what you have is just lots of like" would you believe us? I mean, we're not in your shoes, so none of us would really know. And you shouldn't question your feelings, just go with them~

I myself don't know. I always asked the question, how do you know if you're going to feel the same way to the same person forever? I'm thinking when you get married, it seems like you're lying to each other. There are going to be times when the road ahead gets bumpy but I don't get how you can stay in love for some long.

there will always be constant trials and tribulations in each relationship .. there is no given time limit that proves your love is true .. god will always tests everyone to see if what they have is real .. and the only time i truly feel that a love is real is if it's one that lasts to the death ..

personally i really doubt that love can last forever, if you look at it, most of the relationships these days usually just ends up in the 2 people breaking up sooner or later. marriages usually ends up in divorce 50% of the time, but hey thats just statistic, it don't really matter.

When your around the person your the happiest camper alive, or you just wanna hold that person forever, or talk to that person. You just love being around them, and if you aren't your heart feelz like something is missing..and it hurtz really bad. Love just doesn't end at all the "good feelings" u have inside. i have been in love with the same woman for the past 1 year 5 months, and it took breaking up for a period of time to realize how much we both truly do love each other. She has dated others, while i have stayed single, and even though she has been with this one for like 2 months now she is constantly thinking of me. and she even told him that he cant handle her and even said my name while they had sex o.O serious no no lol. Love is when she places her hand and head on your heart and cries cause she is so happy to be with you. Love is the greatest gift you can bestow upon someone. But be careful love can easily be shattered. this i know first hand. call my cynical, but love doesn't last forever, unfortunately, people get tired of one another sooner or later and it will never be the same as in the beginning. now if you get married when your 40, and get bored of your significant other by 60, its probably easier just to live the rest of your life out with the other, so i guess you can say love can last forever that way. haha dont listen to me, im pessimistic, plus i get tired of a gf after 2 months. sigh
