Bittersweet happiness as I see you through the crowd But once again you disappear Like water seeping out of clasped hands. I call out for you but you never seem to hear I rarely say your name aloud And I slowly being to subdue But a commanding world again demands Wish I were noticeable As I pass you in the halls I reach out to touch your hand Lighter than a strand of hair You never seem to notice. I see you standing there, And I am transfixed, I cannot recall.. I’m drawn to you as if by command. It’s you with whom no one can compare And with you, I am spellbound.
