if you take stereotypes seriously, then thats wrong
but sometimes, ppl joke about stereotypes just because everyone knows about them (thats why the asian comedian's always talk about asian stereotypes, black guys talk about black stereotypes, and they all also talk about white stereotypes) |

i think stereotypes are there because that's how other people see a certain group of people... take for instance the whole "black people like rap", it's true that not everyone likes rap, but looking at the majority of that race... doesn't the majority like rap??? i think it's only wrong when people don't see that stereotypes don't apply to EVERYONE... basically everything can be stereotyped... like how guys think that girls know nothing about cars.... or how most asian guys drive fixed up cars... etc...

i've heard some stereotypes which are true mostly 80% of the time according to some experiences. but i never abide by them... i don't say ALLL are that way or another. I know that everyone is different//not everyone is the same.
