Hey I'm in a long distance relationship right now. He lives in Kansas and I live in Georgia. He used to live here but he moved because of his dad's job. He's supposed to move back next summer. What do you guys think about long distance relationships. I'm 14 by the way. I'm sorry if this has been repeated I'm new to this site.

im not really sure.. you dont need to listen to me laugh.gif

anyways, if youre not going to see him.. EVER again, then.. just break up.. or try. but im pretty sure you both are going to find that special someone soon, if you dont see each other. by hangning on to a guy who's far, and youll never see him again, you wont be able to go out with a better guy ;)

true love always comes back..? haha i got that form a movie laugh.gif

I agree. If its true love with the boy in Kansas...er...I'm not sure, but how will you keep the relationship if you are all the way in Georgia. Thats the problem with these relationships. So hard...love itself is hard already.

If you believe it's gonna work then it's gonna work. You gotta be strong and have faith also. I've only seen my gf once this summer (hopefully again sometime soon >_<) but we've been together a while. _smile.gif If you do it... just make sure you guys talk to each other regularly. happy.gif Eh... guess you could do lil things too... I usually send my gf some stuffs in the mail... like a letter or card even though we talk online and on the phone everyday.. ^_^ but yeah... just make sure you guys have contact and faith in each other and the relationship and it could work out good for ya. _smile.gif well... good luck!!

from experience long distance relationships don't last long, esp. when you're fourteen.

But that doesn't mean yours couldn't work out, I mean I kno a couple that have been long distance dating for a year now and they are absolutely the tightest, most in lovest hehe biggrin.gif couple I have ever met

So don't worry to much about the distance (this is sooo cliche but... just enjoy the luv. cool.gif

If you're never gonna see him again, then you should just say this isn't going to work out.

But, since he's going to come back next Summer, try to work this out. Communication is key, and so is trust.

I hope it works out!! _smile.gif

I think that it would be able to work if you too both put everything into it you've got. this is a test on how strong of a relationship you two have really. if you both can pull through this you can pull through anything i'll bet. you both just have to fully trust each other. and even if you have to take a break until next summer, take everything slow and just try to get back to where you were when he moves back!

dont mean to burst your bubble but if ur not seeing him till next summer just tell him you wanna keep the realasonship going, but u should tell him u both should be allowed to date people from where u live and tell him that when u move back that you can start a comitment then... long distance relationships suckk

He makes visits down here though because he has family here I guess. He's coming down next weekend but sadly I will be in Florida. And I tried to tell him that we should wait till next summer. But he didn't agree. So whatever. I'll just wait n see. I'm just scrared if we do break up then I'll lose him and I don't want to. I mean he dated another girl from Georgia for a whole year so if they can make it last that long I guess I can too.
