Reptitive Topics?, in Debate forum.. |
Debate Rules
Here are the general forum rules that you must follow before you start any debate topics. Please make sure you've read and followed all directions.
- Topics are not to bash others.
- Immature behaviors/comments will not be tolerated.
- Please remember, not everyone thinks like you. People have different ways of thinking and different perspectives. Let's respect each other's thoughts and responses.
- PLEASE, search before making new topics--especially popular topics like "God" and "Abortion" etc.
- PLEASE, read through the thread or at least a couple pages before posting. We have to maintain a certain level of maturity in here.

Is it just me or are the topics getting realli reptitive.. I"m seeing multiple topics on the same subjects and a lot of the same arguments being made..
On this page right now.. there are 5 tops that tie into Bush and the coming election, and 8 topics that tie into religion.. and still more topics that have arguments tied to both.. |

Yea lot of things are geetting repeated.. NOT JUST this forum. ID why people choose to copy another topic, but I guess they just want to see if their thread wioll go as long as another? *shrugs* idk nowadays.. Sometimes I THINK THEY KNOW that a topic is repeated... They just want to make a topic about it with THEIR POST as first? IDK =P

But I'm not sure about people intentionally copying another topic.. perhaps they just have an idea for a topic and get all excited about posting it.. and fail to notice that the topic's already there.. *shrug* |

reasons why there are reptitive topics
1.well see sometimes people have questions about another topic, but when you post that question up on that topic, no one reads it so you don't get answer. so why not start another topic and ask that question. get it? kinda confusing, i know. 2.some people just don't even bother checking the forum if there is another topic like theirs because they probably think that no one's ever posted it b4 3.because they're morons and want to annoy people.

a lot of times each topic the debate is focused on something different, even though the 'topic' is the same.

That may be, but even still, when two topics are focused on different things, and say, they're both on the president, they wind up focusing on the same thing...people bringing up the same points over and over again until they become the same topic. |
