Does going to the gym/running count as a "hobby"? I don't mean going to the gym to play racquetball or something like that, more like just running on a treadmill or whatnot.

I think so. I think it depends on the person, though. Certain people will casually go to the gym and in that situation I don't think so. Other people who are way more serious about fitness and go say five times a week. They've got a very set routine and they spend time creating new routines every few weeks. They are very specific with what they eat, very specific with what they drink. So I guess goign to the gym I wouldn't consider a hobby, but fitness more so I would. It actually becomes a way of life when you get reallllly serious about it.

i would say it is. it's an activity that i find enjoyable, that i make time to do. it isn't something i have to do. i would say it's a hobby when i go to the gym to play basketball. so if i go there to lift weights or run, for my own enjoyment and fitness, then i guess my intentions are no different than if i was playing a game.

i don't think it being habitual makes it not a hobby though @ beenly. surely fishing would still be considered a hobby if i did it every sunday at two in the afternoon habitually. if it's not my job and i'm doing it for pleasure that seems like a hobby to me.

I go to watch all the men make grunting noises and make awkward faces that I assume are the same as their orgasm face.

I don't personally think of it as a hobby because I go to the gym to stay in shape and such. To me hobbies are things more like photography, reading, sewing etc and working out is more of an exercise/health kind of activity

yummy.

I don't really consider taking care of yourself and working out a hobby. When people say they go to the gym as their hobby i usually ask them, "does brushing your teeth and cleaning your toilet also listed as one of your hobbies?"
However, if it's like bodybuilding or cycling..training for a marathon...then yeah sure, why not. But going to the gym and walking on the treadmill for 15 minutes, glancing at the zumba classes, and then lifting some weights for another 30...nah...i look at that as just being mindful of your body and health. Which kinda sucks that people nowadays look at it as just optional or hobby like.

going to the gym isn't necessary to stay healthy. I can go out running and achieve the same thing. going to the gym is totally different than brushing or cleaning

Does being ugly count as a hobby? If so no one can tell you to find a new hobby you're all over that shit.

I'd probably have a really good comeback if I knew (or at least cared) what you looked like, so take a "ur mom" instead.
