Who do you go clubbing with? How long do you stay out? Is there any success of meeting any new people? Do you limit yourself from drinking too much?

I'm not old enough, but the ones on TV seem too good to be true.

Their are 2 clubs here that are for ages 15-20. Everyone f*cking loves them. It's just a bunch of teenage vagina hanging out and gay guys.

I usually go out for a couple weeks at a time. Getting up to Alaska where all the baby seals are isn't easy, so I want to make the most of it. Yeah, you can meet a lot of cool people clubbing, but some people are assholes, too -- the PETA people just don't respect the clubbing lifestyle. I usually find that drinking too little is more of a problem than drinking too much.

I only ever go clubbing maybe once every three months(?) but whenever I do, I go clubbing with a group of friends. I usually stay from 10:30 or 11pm till 1 or 2am.

I usually meet one or two new people at clubs, but it's usually the only time I ever see them. Clubs are terrible places to make long-term friends.

Most of the time, I limit my drinking to maybe 3 shots of hard liquor and a few sissier drinks? I try to spread them out so I don't get drunk (I'm a lightweight). Sometimes I only get a beer. It really depends on how I feel that night. Drinks are expensive.

Honestly, I think clubbing sucks for guys. From what I see, it's extremely difficult for them to dance with strangers. Plus, they're always expected to buy drinks. I feel bad for them. sad.gif

Vegas - I've been at clubs from 10pm to 5am in the morning. It depends on where you go and who you're with, and sometimes "when" you go (holidays, break, etc.). P.S. Girls can usually get in most clubs, if not all, for free.

San Diego - ... I usually only go during college events, even though they're 18+. I'm over that scene now that I'm 22, since it gets way too crowded and it's a hassle to move around in the club. Separate entrances, checking your stamps/wristbands/IDs to let you in 21+/VIP areas. 21+ events are okay, but the music generally sucks half the time (repeats much?). I usually see all my friends in SD one way or another at every club. The good thing is that I live pretty close to all the clubs (like 5 miles away!), so it's easy to get home. Haven't really been clubbing in SD this year... or wait, maybe I have. It just shows how unforgettable it is.

Damn I need to buy more dresses... Too much recycling of my old ones. Too bad it's difficult to find ones that fit my height ;'[

Go clubbing with old guys.

These raisins put it down the middle every time. They used to take our money, but ever since Terry here slowed down my swing, I've adjusted to a more mature game. Now I'm taking back some of that cheese.

Oh yeah.

i almost never go clubbing. i don't like the atmosphere and noise and annoying drunk people everywhere. i'm an old man now so i would rather sit at home on friday night and watch survival shows on discovery than go to a club.

SEAL CUB CLUBBING CLUB!

I am not a fan of clubbing. The only time I end up in clubs is when I'm going to see a show / event and it happens to be hosted at a club. It's not too bad then, but under normal circumstances it's just a bunch of horny people and attention whores. They play music I don't particularly care for, and if I wanted to go meet people I wouldn't do it at a club. I'd rather meet people / girls in school / at work / somewhere that would hint at the slight possibility of intelligence. Don't want to make a "friend" of a drunk girl who thought I was interesting to talk to because my shirt looked cool and thought she could get a drink out of me.

Trashy music played at a volume loud enough to make me go deaf? Trashy people drinking and grinding the night away? I'd rather sit on a thumbtack.

Same here (not the man part...lol). I've only been once, and while it was fun, it was only because I was with my best friends. I dunno, I'd rather not go to a place full of sleazy drunk strangers trying to buy me a drink or corner me as I'm coming out of the washroom, if I'm only there to have a good time with my friends.

Also, alcohol is damn expensive, and it's not like I actually enjoy drinking. For me, money spent on more awesome food > money spent on alcohol every time.

I've been to my fair share of clubs, it just so happens that there would be months with a show every weekend at a club, and wellll, it's not so bad at a show, more people paying attention to the stage / music over people running around horny trying to pick up "hot babes."

Yes they do! Especially girls who are single, girls who don't want their guy friends buying them drinks, or girls who don't want attention from creepy strangers.

Even if someone bought me tons of drinks...it wouldn't interest me. I'm not really a big drinker.

This.

Though, there was this really drunk fat chick in front of me at one show who kept making out with some guy, dropping her shit, and spilling her drinks. She totally made it difficult to enjoy the show.

i always buy my own drinks. I don't like having other people buy me drinks unless we're good friends.

when I was abroad, I probably spent 4-5 days a week out clubbing. back in MA, where my college is in the boonies, I rarely went clubbing, but now that I'm in Boston, I probably go out every other weekend.

There's a game you can play if drinks are too expensive. You can say it's wrong or bitchy but gets the job done. Flirt with creepy or ugly strangers to buy you drinks, then walk away with drink in your hand saying you have to go to bathroom or something. I don't come from money, and to spend hard earn money on $9 beer or liquor, pffft yeah right.

I don't really enjoy clubbing.

I see so many people do that lol. It's always from creepy old guys who shouldn't be there in the first place. I've had friends who owed me drinks be like "Hey, do you mind if I just get it from that dude?" I don't care I find it hilarious and I still get what I want.
