Sex and the City is one of them for me. Although I never really tried to watch it. I just get past the first 8 seconds of the beginning credits and can't continue watching.
This goes for Gilmore Girls too.

I am totally with you on that. I have never understood the popularity of Sex in the City and pretty much cringe anytime I see Sarah Jessica Parker.

I can't watch any of the CSI series. I tried watching a couple of different CSI episodes and was completely bored.

I can't be bothered with most reality series. I admit to watching America's Next Top Model, which is really strange for me. I don't even know if I like the show, I just can't stop watching it for some reason. The only other reality show I've been watching is Last Comic Standing. I'm a fan of stand up comedy though, so that one doesn't surprise me.

One Tree Hill is ridiculous to me. Sophia Bush's voice makes me want to tear my ears out.

You know, after giving it some thought - there are far more shows that I cannot watch than shows I can watch these days. It's been like that ever since anything Joss Whedon or Bruce Timm related stopped airing.

I'd have to say every MTV show. I heard rumors, though, that they wanted to bring back Beavis and Butthead... and if they do it probably won't last long with the current MTV audience.

90210 - idk, i just don't have that connection with it.
The Vampire Diaries - because the suspense scenes are just too damn freaky.
Gossip Girl - the show has some good eyecandy, but it's kinda boring.
American Dad - kinda dull and i'm already in love with family guy

Glee.

It's funny, I get it, but it has no re-watch value to me, and the saccharine covers of songs always butcher the originals. It's weird because I love Jane Lynch and it's also produced by Ryan Murphy. Theoretically I should love this.

What else? I can't get into How I Met Your Mother or any type of sitcom with a laugh track. Again, it's funny, there are clips that make me lmao, but it's just not something I'm itching to watch every week.

I can't watch The Simpsons, Sex and the City, Grey's Anatomy, House, The Vampire Diaries/True Blood, Supernatural, Gossip Girls, Jersey Shore. haha there is a good bit I dont watch, honestly, I'd be better off listing the shows I do watch.

To be completely honest, I hardly watch tv as it is. But... i'm pretty vampired out. I've heard good things though, idk. I just... dont like many shows, I guess I'm just picky.

I don't like many shows, but I love True Blood (especially the first season). Too each their own though.

I usually catch things after they have been canceled or discontinued. That way I can watch everything in one swoop.

this is a tad off topic, but the first episode of Skins (US) 2.6 mil watched it, by the second episode only 1.6mil watched it, and some sponsors dropped out of that causing mtv to lose 2mil dollars

talk about a show that people cant watch :p

Didn't sponsors drop out because of the 'racy' content?

... moreso pornish than the UK version? I can't imagine it being any more racy than Skins UK seeing as how they censor words and such.

If it's pretty much like the original, then the sponsors are stupid for sponsoring it in the first place. it's not like the racy nature of Skins was anything new, what with it having been done before and all.

I've watched the first three episodes... it's not even half as 'pornish' as the UK one. I remember reading a few articles about how parents and sponsors were shocked by the naked butts and all the talk about sex and masturbation. Sigh.

For some of the Us (parents, viewers) its like "omg racey!" but I dont think a lot of people here know that in the UK its not as censored, so im assuming the sponsors didn't want to get a bad rep?

I don't think a lot of people know of the UK version.

There were a lot of suppressed mothers of America just f*cking waiting to be able to jump down MTVs throat again though. I imagine them saying "its go time" then ninja flipping out their front door.

I don't watch Skins at all, but don't y'all hate how US shows are so much more conservative than UK shows? I dunno if you've ever seen The Inbetweeners (a SWEET-ASS show), but that shit is seriously "racy". There is literally an episode that talks about (and shows) a character's left testicle.

I just don't think there's a reason to sugarcoat the TV shows especially if teens do that shit in real life.
