It's been a looooong time since I've touched any design tool D:

First, made this birthday card :

and a few days later a simple Earth Day poster design:

Tell me what you think!

WHOA. I love the birthday card. That is how all cards should be designed then maybe I would actually gave a shit about the card. The colors are my favorite part of it. I really like the earth day poster too. Has a water color sort of feel which I am always a fan of if done right.

I think the birthday card is pretty nice, but it would be even better if you had an actual image of a balloon or confetti somewhere, instead of just behind the text.

The Earth Day poster is awesome! I posted it on my Tumblr.

Unusual choice of colors for a birthday card - the darkness of the background, I mean, not the white (?) masking (for lack of a better word) color. Still looks great, though. Oh hey look, when you fullview you can see that the white isn't totally opaque. Awesome effect.

The earth day poster is bomb. It really gets the feeling of "earth" and "eco-friendly"-ness across without going overboard with the green and blue and cooler shades; I love how you incorporated the brown and red. The heart is a nice touch. :) Beautiful work, as always. It's great to see you active again, even if for a bit! flowers.gif

I like how you use an effect for the text that's been repeated a lot of times by others, but you actually make it look good. And I'm just astonished at the earth day poster. Nice job!

The card looks great! And your poster is cool too. I like how you didn't just use blues and green, but used darker colors like brown as well to show like soil and such. Nice job flowers.gif
