last night i opened a carton of orange juice and accidentally left it out on the counter all night. put it back in the fridge at like 10 this morning. it was out from roughly 10 last night to 10 this morning. do you think it's still good?

^ It would take at least 24 hrs for you to be able to tell. It probably just won't last as long while refrigerated.

This isn't a red alert, JC. It's an orange alert.

Red alert is when Abbey reaches that time of the month again.

i do after i buy them, but i mean they're sold on a shelf unrefrigerated where as the orange juice is sold on a refrigerated shelf so that made me think temperature mattered more.

The "danger zone" is anywhere between 40-140 degrees, and food that needs to be served hot/cold becomes toxic after it has been left in the danger zone for more than 4 hours. I learned this through a training course I took for Cracker Barrel. :P

You might be right. I'm not a server, I actually work out in the gift shop. I just had to take the training course for some reason.
