yeah. i did met up wit her parents before but luckily for me, i know her momma first before i know her daughter. so it was kinda easy for me. it's only da father tat i had to handle. so far, it's been good. well, yeah from da looks of it. but now, since imma no longer wit ma X, i seldom meet up wit dem. but i still keep in touch wit her parents even though ma X doesn't wanna keep in touch wit me. thing is, i know her mom first so tat's why i gotta maintain da relation i had wit da parents. it's not like imma breakin up wit her parents or something!! do i even make sense to ya?! i cant tell you dont be nervous cuz that is like saying dont breathe!! so all im gonna say is be yourself but also be respectful...thats all there is too it..every parent appreciates a yes ma'am/sir or no ma'am/sir. and every parent appreciates a lil convo when you call on the phone sometimes. it shows you were raised in a good way without sucking someones butt!! haha!

Well I've only been in two relationships where I met the parents, and with my first bf I had known him since 1st grade so I was already familar with the family so I wasn't at all nervous. But I was pretty scared when I met my last exs father.

i met my bf's parents when we were just friends, so it wasn't exactly nerve wrecking. they seem to love me and treat me like their own child...his mom even talks about marriage which is kinda freaky =/

I was so nervous.
My boyfriend had me over to watch a movie with him at his house, and he introduced me to his parents.. so formal, haha. I was really quiet and shy, but I was trying very hard to be polite and friendly. I think I was pretty friendly (not being arrogant). Mleh. I dunno if they like me or not, though.  My boyfriend seemed a bit nervous when he met my parents.. They like him, though. They think he's nice.. so it's "all good." |

i didnt even expect him mom ta b there or his dad, lyk im always at his place n theyre neva there, n his dad came by once...his dad was nice...but his mom omfg, jus cuz i didnt say hi ta her, [i have this thing ware lyk its dont speak until spoken to] n lyk wen we left, we were right outside tha door cuz he was lockin it ta walk me home, his mom jus lyk b*tched bout me ta his dad  2nd ex his mom was nice n kinda shy 3rd ex his mom paid no attention ta me cuz she thought me n him were jus friends guy i currently date him mom is really nice my friends first meetin omg lol, it was soo horrible, her bf went ta his dads room ta tell him ta meet her, then her bf comes down n tells her his dad is comin, it takes him lyk 1/2 an hr n hes still in his pajamas, her bf was lyk --> dad meet diana, isnt she pretty? his dad --> wat am i supposed ta say? am i supposed ta say shes tha prettiest grl in tha world? shes tha prettiest grl in tha world then his dad sez ta her --> u shoulda seen his ex, now she was pretty, hey [her bfs name - i forgot] go get a pic of ur ex ta show diana her bf doesnt move his dad --> nvm, i'll jus get it n she told me that his ex was really gross, n she had frizzy hair, n she was wearin a mini skirt n that tha grl had chubby thighs n lyk light sky blu eyeshadow, n she was lyk "y would he have a pic of his sons ex in a miniskirt?" |
