I hate it when ppl say like 'what about their personality'? how the hell are u supposed to know if they have a good personality? Most normal/straight guys go up to a pretty girl and then see what shes like. They never go up to this ugly girl then see waht shes like. So i think thats all bull.....btw i like girls with good lookin faces

People can say repeatedly that looks don't mean anything, but they definitely mean something. But it's not like personality isn't a big factor either. You can be unattractive and have a lot of friends, or be really hot and be hated by everyone. The "popular" girl at my school resembles a boar-hog, and I'm being very accurate.

The only unpretty people who have troubles socially are the ones that haven't gotten over their looks and constantly whine and complain about how "ugly" they are.

Well, many "superficial cbers" do have a point; it is hard to determine one's personality just by looking at them. I know actions speak louder than words; when i mean action i mean how they act, but that alone just doesnt cut it. If a girl is happy with herself, and takes care of herself, it will create a more appealing look to us guys.

Besides, science has proven that it is instinct that drives us to attract and "mate" with certain people who seem healthy enough to continue the race. Superficiality plays a role; you can't just base solely on personality because that's just a disney tale. Instinct is hard to overcome and we've overcome it in our society in many ways; but this is just too hard to ignore.

I know you peeps want an all rounded person and that is perfectly normal; but in life you need to compermise at times.

I always use this quote that i and i alone made for this kind of stuff

k, everyone's human nature is to be at least a little shallow. i highly doubt you would go up to an ugly girl/guy and start talking to them. if you got to know them, then they would seem prettier and whatnot, but not at first if they're really not. all my friends thought my first boyfriend (and my current one) was butt-ugly. however, i thought he was pretty cute. (and i darn-fer-tootin' think this one's cute.)
