no yu cant see them.. thats y you wear them to hide panty lines. The only way you probably cud see the thong is if youre wearing low riders or light colored pants ex. white. So some people just wear thongs and some wear them just to hide panty lines. Its not a requirement.

why not? they're comfortable and they hide panty lines. it's obvious that there are no panty lines if you're wearing tight pants. a thong is the v-design and a g-string is just a string.

I used to think people who wear thongs were sickos. But as you get older, you realize its not really about trying to look sexy or anything (who's going to be looking at your underwear anyway?) Its really about hiding that embarrasing panty-line when you have to wear tight pants or skirts.
And i personally like G-strings better than thongs. Why? Because thongs make you feel like you got a harcore wedgie, and g-strings have less of that feeling.

But I think it looks kinda gross when girls wear those really tight white pants (that's are kinda see through) and they don't wear anything underneath and you can see pretty much everything. |

Thongs aren't uncomfortable. They take like... 5 minutes to get used to if you've never worn one before.
Unfortunately for me, I got really sick of my thong/g-string phase and went out to buy a bunch of cute regular panties. Now, I have this entire drawer full of thongs that I don't wear anymore. Some of it's never been worn... hm... ebay... *giggles* /edit Oh yeah... it eliminates pantylines when you're wearing regular jeans, but sometimes you can see the thong-lines really well. They aren't uncomfortable - in fact, I'm uncomfortable wearing anything else. I started buying them because the lines don't show underneath skirts and dress pants. It took some getting used to, but now it's weird wearing anything else.
