i own a pocket pc, and after the first few weeks of owning it.. it just collected dust in its cradle forever charging~.. so now 2 months later, im trying to sell it, and im bound to lose a $100 on the exchange ..

It might be worth your money if you really have a reason for owning one.. like its required for work?.. or you have such a busy life that having a little scheduling thing in your pocket at all times would help alot. I thought it would be helpful to keep track of schedules, classes, etc.. but i never seemed to get around to inputting all that stuff. I just threw in a bunch of games that i got bored of relatively quick.

All in all, the zire71 is pretty nice, and worth the money if you have a need for it. Try and get a student discount on it if you know someone in college, or are in college yourself. If you wait a few weeks, you might like the new sony clie tj-37 .. it is similar to the zire, but smaller, and lol comes in a few colors.

i'm in college, so you'd think i'd use mine a lot, but to be honest, i wouldn't recommend a palm pilot unless you really REALLY need one. i got a Sony Clie for my birthday two years ago, and i hardly use it.
well, the main reason is that you have to keep it constantly charged, which is hard, becuase the battery drains even when it's off--and if the battery goes completely dead, you lose everything. EVERYTHING. it goes back to factory presets. i mean, as long as you keep your palm pilot synced with a computer and can recover everything, it's ok. but i found it to be more hassle than it's really worth.

like jeppu said, it seems like a great idea, but to be honest, it's not really worth it unless you can find one with stuff you're actually going to use.

i think its useless, if you need organization, agendas are 121321231 cheaper and its easier to use...if you need to play games on the go, i recommend those calculators.

Sorry, but Palm Pilots are stupid. I mean, unless your life is super-hectic or super-busy, then you don't need one. Use the money on a i-POD or something. lol

I have a pocket pc. And since my school's internet is wireless.. I can also get wireless connection with my pocket pc too and chat with my friends online. It's pretty cool.
