basically i started talking to this guy over the internet
for like 6 years now....like back in 1999 to now...we've been talking and he wants me to go live with him... and we did like long distance relationships... also he is coming down here to CA to see me and stay for like.. however long i want him to stay here..... i am thinking about moving in with him.... 1. so do you think that i should wait 1 month until i move in with him?? 2. how can i tell he is telling the truth?? 3. 6 years is that long? 4. what are your opinons? or advice?? plz help...if you can thank you...  [edit] lil info about me and him 1. i am 17, jus grad from high school 2. he is 19... 3. he lives in VA 4. i live in CA 5. NEVER met in public 6. switched pictures over email |

whoa..six years!? thts long man. lol well ive had internet relationship too cuz tht guy was way too shy to go out in person..but i knew him cuz we've met before. but if you live in diff places..man tht can be a whole lie. i think you should maybe tell him to go to a place both of you know, and wear totally black with a white rose in his hands or something so you can reconize him. that way you'll noe if you're guy is really not a 50 year old man.

if its been 6 yrs...i highly doubt that hes been lyin n that hes a 50 yr old man...i dont think n e one would wana lie fa 6 yrs...if he really was lyin, leave asap!!! cuz lyk only psychos would do those kinds of things...

i agree with xpinkiexswearx.. cos u hafnt met him yet so he can be lying.. in Singapore (a small country below malaysia), there has been many cases of rape (or is it kidnap??) because of teens meeting their online date.. i've had an internet relationship before.. and aft 1 yr, he's suddenly disappeared.. i knew his sch, so i went to check.. but my frenz in the same sch nv hear of him before..
so.. thatz my answer on Q2 n Q4.. the others, i duno how to express in wordsz.. ^^ hope u find it helpful.. |

anyways, a few questions first: 1. how old are you? 2. have you ever met this guy before? 3. how much do you really know about him, and can you verify the information to make sure he's not lying? Sorry, i'm just extremely wary of people who I have never met before in real life (face-to-face). |

6 years is a long time and i think if you truly trust him go for it but you should ask him if he lovs you first ask him to pove his love and if you like it and he proves his point I say go for it.... good luck |

wow thats tough.
I suggest you don't even think about moving in with him yet. Get to know him in public, cuz you never know. Go on a few dates or something. Moving in is a big decision. 1. i htink you hsould wait a little longer and be careful 2. you don't. get to know him in person first and follow your gut 3. kind of long,...but seriously if you havent met him in public yet its not long enough 4. be careful! meet somewhere in public, like the mall! |

yeah u should definitely meet up with him first. there's no need for u to rush in and move to his place. get to know him in person first. ppl may be different on the internet compared to what they are in person. personally, i would never move in with my bf, just because that's sucha huge commitment, especially for someone that's our age (i'm 18).

even though six years is a long time just remember it wasnt six years that you actually saw eachother, hung out... all you did was chat on the internet...so i would say that you need to wait more than a month to see if you guys can actually live with eachother cuz nobody shows their bad habits over the internet. i mean how could they..so you should think a lil more before you do that...
