do you consider yourself non-confrontational or are you quick to jump into arguments? maybe sometimes to the extent of picking fights with people when it's unnecessary.

I'm pretty quiet when it's with anybody besides family. But when I'm with family, I'll argue until I win. _unsure.gif

Depends on who I'm talking to and my mood. There are some people that I've learned that I shouldn't even bother saying anything, or I will never hear the end of it. And there are others who are okay with a little friendly argument. But I'd say for the most part I'd rather argue with someone than avoid confrontation.

Totally non-confrontational, except when I don't realise how hard I'm arguing. Then I just feel like a douche, and stfu.

Side note, I almost abbreviated that "non-con" but then really thought about it...I like my sex consensual, thx.

I used to be extremely non-confrontational - I'd hold my tongue no matter how pissed off I was because I cared so much about what others thought of me. But I recently realized how I was letting others treat me like a doormat, so I've been making some changes.

Lately, I've been pretty open about how I feel. Sometimes that means being quick to jump into arguments, which I guess isn't an improvement at all, but I've noticed that I feel a lot better when people know what I think. I try not to make it so that I seem unapproachable though.

And Tina, haha. I'm way more willing to argue with my family members than with others too!

I live according to the teachings of Malcolm X:

"Be peaceful, be courteous, obey the law, respect everyone; but if someone puts his hand on you, send him to the cemetery."

i'm only confrontational if something bothers me. i don't like holding anger in because i'm quick to forget about it, and if something bothers me i WANT the source to know it.

If I feel that some gross social injustice is occurring then i'll speak up. But I have recently come to the conclusion that I am one who will speak before really thinking about what i'm going to say and that has gotten me into some trouble.

f*ck that shit, too much effort. I'd rather stay here and brave the MN winter. 'Cause I can't drive, and I'd have to walk to Texas. It'd be summer by the time I got there, and shit, son, that's too hot. Back to MN I'd go.

Texas trip? Y'all can find out for real if you are non-confrontational or not. It's easy to lie when it comes to these things.
