I do that too. Even in the winter sometimes.

However we cranked up the heat today. Its been super cold since yesterday. Its even snowed three times since yesterday. Nothing stuck thankfully. I still want to experience fall first.

No. My mom is cheap and I wear like two sweaters, socks, a scarf and sometimes gloves around the house. And two blankets when I sleep! It'll have to get pretty cold before the heat gets turned on. :(

i live in a co-op thing ;so our heat is turned on when the temp goes below a certain point.

so far its been turned on like once.

that would really suck if you're someone who doesn't get cold easily.

the smell reminds me of winter. and I love the feeling of defrosting. however the heater works like an oven. it doesnt just get warm. so it helps but if you leave it on to long it gets really hot! I still wear a sweater and stuff.

haven't turned the heater on here yet. this weather has been up and down. it's hot, it's humid, it rains, it gets cool during the night but it's still humid. i'm looking forward to the cold this year.

Yes, two weeks ago. My house is 130 years old, so it's drafty as hell.

It snowed here yesterday and I was not happy. I HATE THE WINTER TIME. I really wish it wouldn't get any colder than 50 degrees.

it's all up to the school. they choose when to turn the heat on or off. it's quite sad because the days that were really cold the heat was off, but on the days that weren't all too cold, they turned the heat on. bad times mate.

Tbh, I don't think we've ever turned on the heater at my house. It does get cold during winter time but not that cold. I just bundle up in blankets and put on a nice warm sweater and I'm good. For summer on the other hand, we do put on the air because it reaches 110 degrees sometimes. sweating.gif

it's a fact that you fall asleep faster and go into a deeper sleep when it's cooler. your body is more comfortable becuase it warms up during sleep so if it's already warm in the room you get too hot.

did i make a topic about that, i have no clue. but i read it not that long ago

Now that I think about it, that is true. But then I hate when you're nice and warm in your bed and you have to get up at 6:15 for school and take a shower. stubborn.gif

The weather here sucks. -30 degrees and walking to class, NEVER AGAIN. Worst week ever. During the winter time the curtains at my house move because of the wind... the floors are always cold and it's so uncomfortable getting out of the shower in the morning and shivering because the room is cold. We'd fix up our house, but they are tearing it down to build a freeway, so for the past 10 years we've been waiting on them to get enough money to buy our house.

You guys who like it cold are crazy. I'll trade you.

As for the heat, nah, we don't turn it on much really. We always either serve up some hot cocoa or get two blankets. You know what I want to try though, that Snuggies robe thing. :D

I miss being at home because my parents ALWAYS had the house at the right temperature. When I stay in the dorms, they never turn the heat on until it gets real cold and then it doesn't shut off until the end of winter. I usually stay at my boyfriend's apartment though. The guys haven't decided to turn on the heat yet, so we just cuddle under a bunch of blankets until we fall asleep. I don't really mind it because it needs to be cold for me to sleep. Once I get too hot, I can't sleep. They also have an older man for a downstairs neighbor and if they turn the heat up to high he'll pretty much die, soo it's gonna be a cold winter :[

Jacksonville can be kind of off sometimes when
it comes to the seasons, so it's not exactly
cold down here yet. But my people keep the Ac on
ALL THE TIME so i don't think i'm going to be warming
up anytime soon.

It's high 30s/low 40s here and my parents have the heat set to the perfect temp.. I slept like a baby. The dorms still didn't have the heat on and my roommate and I were pretty much freezing. Probably partly how I got so sick :[
