Why do alllll of you want to look like you're sick?

Really? Also, some people are naturally underweight, and healthy as well. Um, plenty of people who are underweight don't "look sick" at all. I know I'd prefer not to gain weight. When I gained almost 10 pounds, I felt more tired, sluggish, and unhappy with my body. I'm only saying this because you asked why we'd want to be underweight.

Plus, the BMI index is BS because there are plenty of people who are healthy and have less than 5% body fat, but still considered overweight because muscle weighs more than fat.

I'm one of those naturally underweight people.
and yes, I know, the BMI index is totalllll BS.
I am very unhealthy because I am so skinny, so there are probably a lot of other girls that are unhealthy as well..then there are the bulimic and anorexic people too..they probablyyy aren't very healthy.

half of my problems are from being underweight and the other half is from being too tall. I grew about 4 inches in less than a year back when i was in middle school. I have scoliosis and my rib cage sticks out A LOT on the left side so i look even skinnier most of the time. fun fun fun.

who cares. when you're older your metabolism slows down. i mean, youre not dying so its okay. i have no problems being the freakishly skinny one, yeah my friends look at me funny but i believe it'll be better than them looking at me funny cuz i got a big fat belly or something.

Why don't you eat then? That's the best way to get fat. Still, I don't see why you want to get fat, non fatties are so much hotter and more desirable. This isn't the 1500s where being fat meant you were more desirable since you could afford to eat. Fat people have you know, health problems. Also, they're hideous.

That's what you get for wanting to be fat. Fatty wannabe. Your problems will get worse when you're fatter and have to carry around more weight.

cellulite is not appealing.

as long as you have healthy ways to go about it, then it doesn't matter. you should be happy that you're naturally thin. not many people are lucky enough to complain about being too thin.

you can leave this thread now if you aren't going to contribute. this isn't a thinspo thread, k. some of us are attracted to the finer things in life, aka skinny bitches. there's a fat thread somewhere in lounge you can join in.

no one gets what i'm trying to say.
people think women that wear size 7 jeans are fat. They think that just because a woman is curvy..she's fat. I want to be curvy instead of being a stick.
and no one thinks that skinniness can cause diseases? Yeah you're fat you can get diabetes and have high Cholesterol. Skinny people are more prone to osteoporosis, I have a weak immune system as well..I could have a problem making babies as well.

http://www.physorg.com/news164981068.html
read that.

obese and underweight people can die earlier than someone who is at a normal weight. You wanna be skinny? Good have fun dying at 50. :)
oh and us underweight people have a better chance of dying earlier than overweight people, how fun.

and someone up there said something like "Because I'm sure soooo many people think you're a model." I just noticed how that sounded. that made me sound like i'm stuck up. a few people here and there see a skinny tall person say "oh they must be a model!" I've been stopped in wal-mart and this woman in walgreens even grabbed my arm and started talking to me about how she wants to take pictures of me. I didn't mean that it happens ALL THE TIME, it just happens sometimes.

"skinny bitches" does sound rather offensive by the way. we aren't all bitches. I'd have to say that that statement is somewhat sexist.

i think people get what you're trying to say, but it's just that they want you to appreciate what you have. and this topic is just for people to post pictures of skinny people and that's it. not really much room for discussion i guess.

and no worries, a lot of people share the same opinion as you (that larger sizes don't really mean that you're actually bigger)

and that article is kind of whack...if you're at either extreme, it's going to be bad for the person regardless. and they even say, "Our study only looked at mortality, not at quality of life, and there are many negative health consequences associated with obesity, including high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and diabetes." but i get what you're trying to say.

1. Doubt it. Only Sandy/other fatties like eyelids and "it" eats more than me, and it shows.
2. Congratulations, my family has a lot of fatties, yet I broke the cycle. You're not special.
3. What I consider fat is when people have excess fat on them that is exactly that, excess. If for instance eyelids dropped 100 lbs, she'd be a lot healthier and not as fat.
4. No, fat is not healthy. Being fat leads to health problems and makes you uglier.

No one said a size 7 was bad. It's more that you said "I'd rather be fat", but now you're comparing it to a size 7. Also, you have to take into consideration your height. If you're tall and a size 7, you would look more proportionate, and most likely not seen as "fat" at all. Take for example, if I wasn't a size 00 (or size 10/12 slim in kids' size), but a size 7, I would be considered fat, maybe almost obese. It's because I'm 5'0, and there are plenty of people I've seen who are probably size 7+ and shorter than me, and look "overweight". This is why size and weight is really hard to discuss because we all have different standards on beauty.

Also, KaraYankit, I don't you could eat more than Steven - that guy drinks and eats like there's no tomorrow. DAMN YOU WHITEY.

Hey guiz, can we stop bitching about size and get back to the topic at hand? If you're so offended by a title, then why click on it? go to the curvy ladies thread and post there instead. I'm not into skinny bitches, so I posted there instead of coming in here and bitching. This girl thinks "skinny bitches" is offensive, but is offending size 7 people by calling them fat, lol.

No pics for me to post. Going back to lurking.

1. Good, because you're not.
2. orly
3. It's healthy to have fat on you, not to be fat. This thread is not about bitches who haven't an ounce of fat on them, it's about bitches who are skinny. Do you know what the opposite of skinny is? Fat. I hate fat bitches. Fat bitches should get on a treadmill til they're socially presentable.
4. I'm the manliest man there is, bitch. I saw your ugly ass mug, and I can see that you, while you have some dykish features, are in fact a skinny bitch. Embrace that, okay?

Kara, I know that you find your body to be at least a little attractive. You have photos in your profile that shows that you do enjoy your body. I hope you know that there is nothing wrong with being naturally thin. Many women would sacrifice to get to where you're at. You can support them when needed, but you don't have to fight for them at every battle.

Personally I have tread waters amongst 'every' shape and size (forgive me father). I can tell you that I found the skinny to average girls most attractive. Easy to pick up, 'move and toss around'. There's nothing wrong with that. Its what I'm attracted to. Its what most men are attracted to. We can't help it.

My best friends are guys. I know what they think about most things, It's just when stupid guys piss me off and then start calling me "d*ke" and "ho." SOME people should have just let me say my opinion then said "Yup okay that's your opinion, but I like skinny bitches" then I would have shut up and moved on to a different topic. It just pisses me off.

unfortunately you're in the wrong forum to expect that kind of response. but hopefully it's a lesson learned.

i personally think that any person will always want what they don't have. i, for one, do it all the time. curly hair wants straight, fat wants skinny and visa versa. no one is ever happy with themselves because they are their own worse critics.

When this whole thing started the way people were talking was making me feel like I'm not allowed to hate my body because I'm the size that a lot of women want. I'm not healthy being 20lbs underweight so why do women want to be like that? I believe all I did was ask a simple question.

and yeah people will always want what they can't have. That's just the way people are.

How about everyone just agrees to drop it?
We all have different opinions and they aren't going to change.

it sounds like you're getting very upset about everyone's responses. i suggest, and i've been there before, to not take it personal and let it go. i feel bad that your feel upset but please, don't take it personal.

Eh.
I'm a very opinionated person..it runs in the family. It's not that I get upset. I just think "OMFG HOW CAN THEY THINK THAT, THAT'S f*ckED UP!" so I go and type and type and offend people with more of my opinion.

I guess people just shouldn't say things about people that they see on a forum? They don't really know that person, and they're going to judge them by what they post and make assumptions and blah blah blah. lets start over.

HI I'm Kara. :)

*ignores the rest of the topic*

We all pretty much know that everyone has their own idea about what "skinny" "average" and "fat" is.

with that said, I nearly died in bliss when I saw the new Amber Rose pic TMZ got of her in a orange thong. So much bloody win, just.........*faints*

^Well, number one, you make assumptions about what everyone finds attractive.
Number two, you sound quite crass when you state that your opinion, so it's soooooo easy for everyone to jump on you.

I agree... the manner it was done and the place it was done didn't help. If you're going to step in and take a topic way off track, at least do it with something that actually matters. What you think is attractive is totally up to personal opinion, not fact. If you're really so offended by a thread, then why post in the thread? It should be obvious that they people who frequent that thread are going to disagree with you when you tell them that their opinion is wrong.

Why is this even its own topic? _unsure.gif

my first post
"Now tell me girls, what's so great about being skinny?
Why do alllll of you want to look like you're sick?
I wear size 0 Jeans and I hate it. I'd rather be overweight than underweight that's all I'm saying."

I asked a question.
Expressed my opinion.
and I get jumped all over.

i'm assuming the BOLD sentence is what's important.
I'm skinny. I look like my parents don't feed me.
you can count my ribs and I don't even have to suck in.

i just asked why women want that?..and i guess men too..I've met a few that want to be skinny.

If you'd just worded it differently, there's less of a chance of kids jumping down your throat.
Regardless, the point of this thread is to post pictures of women who are thin that we find attractive. We find skinny women attractive; there's no way of further explaining it.

I'm assuming you know what attraction is.

It depends on how overweight or underweight.
If I were 5lbs over weight instead of 20lbs underweight..yeah I think that would be better.
It's probably about the same, unless you're Obese. I mean If you're 350lbs then that's not good, and I don't think a person can be 350lbs underweight so being Obese is worse than being a couple pounds Underweight.

did you get the internet recently? you nub. although you are entitled to your own opinion, you'll soon realize nobody gives a f*ck about what you think.

you can tell me you have a loving boyfriend, but i still think you look like a butch d*ke. peace

well im stick skinny too and sometimes i look at the mirror and think "hey i look like a skeleton" and want to gain some muscles or fat. i want something on my bones, something to sorta squeeze. but i would never want a lot of fat and be overweight.

I'd rather be like..size 7, a lot of people think that's fat, I don't. I think it's normal..and Healthy.

perfectly said. i mean, its insaine that people will starve themselves to be so tiny and skinny that they tend to just look sickly. but there are people who just have that fast matabolism that make them that tiny. i think it all comes down to proportion. if you are proportionate and your a size 14 then you can still lok amazing! its also self confidance that makes you amazing and pretty!

I like curves, but I think that her breasts are a bit too large for her frame; I wonder if her back hurts because of how much they weigh.
