So my dad is going to go schedule it today. And I was wondering what they ask you? On Yahoo Answers, someone said this:

"The checklist includes: pre-driving checks, starting the car’s engine, using hand signals, moving and stopping the vehicle, parallel parking, backing up 50 feet, starting, stopping and turning the vehicle on a hill, entering and leaving intersections, three-point turns, obeying traffic lights and signals, conducting left and right turns and using “good driving skills.”"

And I know how to do those (some not so great xD) but I wouldnt say I'm terrible at it or anything.

But I was wondering if you had to know any of these stuff for your road test?
800 ft parking distance from actual fire
500 ft distance from another vehicle using your high beams
300 ft distance from an emergency vehicle on call
100 ft putting yor turn signal on before you turn
30 ft parking distance from intersection with stop sign
15 ft distance you stop from a school bus unloading children
10 ft parking distance from a fire hydrant
1 ft parking distance from curb

20 mph inside a school zone
40 mph outside thickly settled area
50 mph on a divided highway outside a thickly settled area
(I got these from a paper from driver's ed. And I just typed out some of them. There were more on the paper)

And one more thing, for hand signals, when you put your arm straight out it means to stop/slow down, when your arm is facing up its right, and when it's down, its left. Am I right?

Ahh! I'm really nervous D:

That's not a question, but if it was, the answer would be no.

Well the regulations and rules may be different for each state

Like all i did was parking (front back parallel) and then merging, turning, stopping. They check to make sure your not going over the speed limit etc etc

I showed him that I knew how to turn the headlights on and the windshield wipers. Then I drove to a gas station and came back.

Easiest test ever FTW. Mississippi's big country roads don't require good driving D: they be'z so wide.

I think it depends on where you live... Are you in drivers ed? Drivers ed will usually give you material to prepare you for your written test and your driving test.

Ahh! I'm really nervous D:

I thought it was straight out: left, up: right, and down: stop. shrug.gif

But don't be nervous. You'll do fine. Just don't over think it and practice, practice, practice.
